Memphis Grizzlies point guard Jason Williams plays a fun, wild style of basketball. InsideHoops.com met him to discuss how things have gone with (relatively new) coach Hubie Brown.
InsideHoops.com: What kind of things has (coach) Hubie Brown taught you, or emphasized with you as far as what he wants?
Jason Williams: He just lets me play my game. I think that's just one great trait about him as a coach, he just lets you go out and do your thing, as long as you work hard.
InsideHoops.com: Were you worried at first that he might...
Jason Williams: At first, yeah, I was worried. I thought we were going to clash, bump heads a little bit, but I think, that's the best thing probably that has happened to me personally since I've been in the NBA, and it's definitely one of the best things that has happened to this organization.
InsideHoops.com: I mean, your style is to go for it.
Jason Williams: I think I've been pretty lucky my whole career, I've been be able to play for a coach that really let me go, they live with some of the mistakes as long as I play hard.
