Chris Paul interview at 2013 All-Star
Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul is averaging 16.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 9.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game this season. Here are some CP3 interview quotes from 2013 NBA All-Star weekend.
Question: Going back to the holiday season, who came up with the sweater idea?
Chris Paul: Who came up with the Christmas sweaters? Actually my wife did. My wife came up with the idea. She said that how tight knit our team is, that we would everything we do is together. One guy coming with a sweater it would have been embarrassing, but we didn't care if it was the whole team.
Question: What does it mean to be part of the All Star Weekend?
Paul: It means everything. Without the fans, the support and the way the NBA is at the level it is, we wouldn't have the opportunity to be here and enjoy this entire experience. All Star Weekend is always a privilege, an honor, and glad to be here.
Question: How would you assess the season thus far?
Paul: This season it's been pretty good. It was a lot better before I got injured. We were on a roll and in a good position. I'm glad to be back and healthy now. And glad Chaunce is healthy. We're back together, means trouble for everybody else.
Question: What's the best part of All Star Weekend?
Paul: The best part of All Star Weekend? Probably to get a chance to spend time with a lot of the guys, a lot of my friends that are here. Because during the season it's always in passing and after the game you don't get a chance to talk, and we're too intense during the season and stuff like that. I think for me, now, too, being a father, having my son here is the best part of the whole thing. He talks about all these guys all day every day. And he just loves being around them.
