Why would a shorter guy weighing the same as the taller guy have an advantage in a sprint?
Would Usain Bolt be faster if he was 5'11 205lbs instead of 6'5 205lbs ?

I'm all for tariffs in the right places. For instance, China puts heavy tariffs on luxury goods such as BMW, Ferraris, Fendi etc. The wealthy who care about their brands will pay the extra whatever to have their brands, but it doesn't affect inelastic goods(like steel) that will literally affect everyone, and disproportionately the poor. A very...

I agree with the suns shoutout. The coaching change and getting tyus monte and even Plumlee helps a lot(eubanks was ass). A lot will depend on Beal going back to being a top 50 guy however

Jordan never ran a 4.3
He ran a 4.5-4.6 that amateurs holding a watch timed out at 4.4
But hey man, there's this bridge that if you buy could change your life. You interested?

Yeah, I guess it would at best make them lower prices and gain less money, on top of less supply.
Dunno how I got it mixed up. Would definitely be better, although still detrimental to tax them to sell. I guess we’d need more power to do that.
I’m not mad at china stuff still, but it’s true unless we supply self + have non taxed trade...

I wish the league would give something back to the defense. Remove defensive three seconds. Implement the FIBA-style basket interference. Those would be my two rule change ideas.
I think they'd empower defense without too negatively affecting the offensive style of play. Especially the second one.

'90s Seattle would be an interesting look. George Karl's teams always overachieved in the regular season IMO.

Pretty disgusting that McClung has been killing it in G-league and was never given a fair shot, and everyone's on Bronny's dick because of who his daddy is.

Great stuff.
The bench of that team is oft-forgotten. Lindsey Hunter despite only being listed at 6'2" could check bigger guards and even forwards. What a beast.
The rule changes/re-interpretations/points of emphasis starting in 2004-05 weren't the only reason Detroit's defense statistically declined. Losing some of those rotation guys...

That’s not how tariffs work, China doesn’t pay us shit.
Let’s say we have the proposed 25% tariffs on steel. Let’s say we purchase $100 in steel. We paid China the $100, tariffs or not- they got their agreed upon money and have washed their hands of us at this point, transaction is done. The company that brings in the steel pays the tariff so...

Seems like trouble always finds its way to Trump. It’s wild that this guy had all those guns in a hotel room. Just goes to show how messy things are getting out there.

It's striking to see how Trump's tax proposals disproportionately benefit the wealthiest while burdening the middle and lower-income groups. The proposed tariffs and cuts seem to raise costs for everyday Americans, negating any potential benefits from tax cuts.

Totally agree! This really feels like MLB is more concerned with some sort of scheduling than they are about giving everyone a fighting chance. It is often said, that two more games can do a lot for those crucial encounters and the teams.

Thing is…these teams you refer to?
Most of them don’t have and may never acquire a single player good enough to pass on better players to support your title hopes.
look at the Warriors. At any point between Wilt Chamberlain and prime Steph was anybody on that team who justified not bringing in an immensely talented person at a similar...

No because Lebron was the only player in the league that got roster overhauls each year as GM's conspired league-wide to make media narratives come true:
2020 - The "AD Heist"
2021 - Schroeder, Pope, Drummond, Montrezl Harrell, Marc Gasol, Markieff Morris
2022 - Westbrook, Carmelo, Dwight Howard, Malik Monk, Ariza, Talen...

tariffs need to be targeted in order for them to work. we put tariffs on imported goods so that it drives up prices and incentivizes people to instead buy american-made. putting a 20% tariff across the board on every good that comes into the country, including ones that we don't manufacture or produce here makes zero sense and just ends up...

China doesn't pay the tariff, we do. The tariff is not paid by the exporter, it's added to what the price of the good would have been and gets paid by whoever buys it. The tariff does make the good less appealing to the buyer than it would be by increasing the price which could help American made products. The problem is that China will do the...
