Ham had the right idea playing him off the bench. He gave him way too many minutes though.

Full Court sure called this one.
And yet the Bronie fluffers will STILL refuse to believe that he's a net negative.

They just re-signed Jalen Mills to supposedly take over Devin McCourty's spot. Our CB's are the biggest need on the team arguably. Our number 1 is Jonathan Jones who is more of a mid level number 2, high end number 3.
I think Rhamondre Stevenson can be a big work load guy. The thing the Patriots have always had success with, is a pass catching...

Every move is defensible with some point of view, but yea...the roster is currently in shambles and while I do think there are some manifestations of Luka/Kyrie that work...I'd imagine Kyrie leaves in the summer and this roster is bare bones.
When you have a player as great as Luka, imo, something special is always on the table, but obviously...

One single season, especially one in which a player has been as good as Luka this year, is not going to mean much when your team isn't good enough to do anything noteworthy.
However, one fair criticism against Luka might be that he isn't making the team good enough in his time on court.
Even if you remove his first year, he only has a +3.7...

Philadelphia: Joel Embiid (right calf tightness), James Harden (left achilles soreness) and Danuel House (right shoulder soreness) are questionable for Monday’s game against Denver.

I called the Irving trade horrible. Just because you are 7-8 seed in the West you don’t just make a move to make a move. We could even go back to Porzingus decision being awful.
All Mavs had to do was surround Luka +Porzingus with solid role players and they would be top 4 team out West. Let Luka prove at that point if he’s actually great

Getting better won’t mean his numbers do. It’s generally that way with guys who are amazing young. There’s a realistic limit to anyones production. Once you get into that 30ppg range you only go so much further but that doesn’t mean you don’t become more refined. Shaq did 29/13 his second season but got considerably more polished. Jordan similar....

Yea, I hope Joel gets it because, while I think Jokic was reasonable the last 2 years and would be this year, for Joel to finish 2nd...three straight years, that would suck and you can see it weigh on him. I think most voters likely take it quite seriously and do a good job, but also a lot of group think as well.
Philly has a real chance this...

Lebron doesn't play 5 positions as proven by 2 decades of bad teammate fits and chemistry, or point guard stats like hold-time & assisted rate, or imposing spot-up roles like a point guard (reducing teammate assists and increasing their assisted rate/play-finishing) - so all the stats confirm that he has a point guard skillset and no stats...

Denver, Grizzlies with Warriors having equity if Wiggins returns with a bang.. Lakers are biggest underperforming team ever and they were last year too (preseason favorite missed play-in)

He's 24 actually
I personally think Duncan peaked around this age.
Same with Kobe. I've always felt #8 was better.
What's Luka going to do at 26-27? Average a 35 point triple double? I doubt it.
It's within a realistic percentile that this is Luka at his best.

Lebron's abnormall ball-dominance imposes spot-up roles, so teammates like AD, Ingram, Reaves, Wade and Pippen can't play their best game..
It's the story of Lebron's career.
a career of bad fits and weak chemistry that underachieves the on-paper talent.. The only time he didn't underachieve the talent was when Mo's all-star spacing...
