DPOY - John Stockton kinda strange the all-time steals leader never won the award
MVP - Tiny Archibald guy averaged 34PPG and lost to Dave Cowens who might not have been the best player on his team
I remember a sequence from last years conference finals where Lebron and Joker were just coincidentally guarding each other for a series of consecutive possessions, and it literally turned into a flop-off. Like they were going back and forth the way guys sometimes do with pull up jumpers, but they were trading flops.
Except Lebron wasnt...
KJ was a damn fine player. People are not realizing he was All-NBA 2nd Team FOUR seasons in the late 80s-early 90s.
MJ and MJ were obviously shoe-ins for the top two spots.
From 89-94, he made five All-NBA Teams in six seasons. He missed 93 due to injury.
Stockton has six in six. Jordan has five, as he was retired in 94.
Price has four....
I was surprised to see Jokic getting a lot of flopper talk after this game

He did flop but he did it the more traditional way of just having his weight on his heels waiting for contact.
They need to move on from LeDeadWeight. They have enough talent to be a title contender, but they are once again underachieving.
They should probably sack Darvin Ham too.
Pippen in 95 for DPOY. Not sure he warrants being over Hakeem, Mutumbo or Admiral, but I don't think it would be any worse than MJ getting it in 88 over Hakeem or Mark Eaton.
I don’t care about that. You would have to work very hard for me to take anything personal. I routinely cuss out and get cussed out by my best friends. You know who not to take shit serious from. I’ve been watching Oppenheimer off and on for like the last five hours. I’m almost to the test bomb. This movie is long as ****.
I think Reggie was solidly behind Clyde Drexler for most of his career.
He just didn't have an argument, stats or results vs Clyde the Glide. And he was also not ranked significantly above Mitch Ritchmond.
He did show what he could do with Larry as coach and I think people understood that his style of play and shooting ability was very ahead...
Thank you. I wasn't doubting he said it (although you could argue that Trevor going 1a/1b with them is a borderline loss for OP), I just think it's a wild move to make the thread title and then post a movie-length video with no direction as to when it was discussed.
