Hero is the Key to the Heat winning this series as if he goes off against Boston as he did in the Bubble.
The Heat are going to the finals for the second time in three years.

To keep Morant.

It seems he doesn't share the view of some of you that the Grizzlies are better without Morant.

I'd say he's closer to Bob Pettit in that he's a champion level scorer and one of the best players of his era. Luka is not even 25 yet so we don't know what he's going to develop into.

Just wait until he becomes poised to pass Lebron up on the all time list, you'll see the Bronies lining up to disparage him.

I have the Heat winning in 6 games.
I wonder if people realize this is a way more favourable matchup for the Heat than the Bucks would have been.
As they don’t have to deal with Middleton, Giannis, and most of all Brook Lopez who owns them.

Heat in 6. No way Spoelstra is going to use such a brain-dead defensive scheme again and again and again like Bud did

Would be hilarious if the Pels ended up winning the lottery with the Lakers' pick as they have a 26% chance to land in the top 4.
There isn't a consensus #1 this year so I think some teams might trade down. I like Banchero's offensive game the most and think he could fit on any team. Chet would be awesome in NO if they managed to move up in...

I'm not sure I'd agree w/that at all. Percentage wise I can see why you'd say that but the volume of 3s and midrange shots that Luka shoots are far greater than what young Lebron was doing. I highly doubt young LeBron would have gotten up to 35% from 3 had he been shooting 3s at a clip of 8 per game. Luka also already has a post game that he takes...

He's like the perfect mix between old & new school. He can dominate from the perimeter but also take anyone in the post and he can hurt you from mid-range. He looks slow and unathletic at times but no one has been able to shut him down in the POs, he even took it to Gobert in the paint on both ends. He's obviously an ATG playmaker too, so you...

He's never shown much loyalty to his employer so I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers could pry him away if they really wanted him.

Nets' defense was just as bad as the Jazz. Chris Paul and Booker were both considered to be MVP candidates/top 10 in the league and they had the best team by a wide margin. Mikal Bridges was a DPOY candidate too and Ayton was supposed to be a huge advantage for Phoenix. The Suns easily had more depth & scoring than the Bucks and also had HCA.

Giannis/Jrue > Paul/Booker
Durant/Irving > Mitchell/gobert (by far)
I still don't see how luka run is more impressive. It's choke Paul vs Giannis
Tatum is kind of like their point guard now, he was running point guard in game 7.
Smart is the point guard as well and he's pretty good at it

There's just more high end talent in the Conference now than there was 4 years ago. The best player Bran faced en route to the Finals in '18 was Victor Oladipo or Kyle Lowry, now he'd have to go through legitimate MVP candidates/top 5 players on good teams.

Tatum's not a better scorer off the dribble and he's limited offensively compared to Luka. Doncic is averaging 32/10/7/2 on ~59%TS in just 36.1 mpg vs Tatum's 28/6/6 58%TS in 41.2 mpg and beats him in all the advanced metrics by a wide margin. Luka has a +18.2 Net Rating in these PO's compared to Tatum's +7.4 as well.
Luka beat the title...

Picking Heat in 7 as well. I think there's potential that Butler outplays Tatum and is the best player in the series. Heat can match whatever the C's throw out there, but the Celtics obviously are a bigger threat from the perimeter, but the Heat are also one of the best at defending 3s and can switch everything and have an advantage inside and on...

I think it had more to do with Chris Paul losing his ability to play basketball in the 2nd half of this series. Ayton is a big, you need to get him the ball in his spots. It's not like they shut him down, he didn't get the ball early in the game and then he had a horrible 2nd quarter with the offensive fouls and him picking up 3 total in a quick...

It's a solid case. I still think Giannis outplayed him by a huge margin in the 3 other games, so Giannis gets the nod for the series overall, considering he played without his #2 option and completely dominated Tatum defensively whenever JT tried to attack the paint. Game 6 is really close and Game 7 is a wash as Giannis got next to no help from...
