Kareem's record for most points scored stood for 39 years until Lebron broke it last night.
As it currently stands, Jordan's scoring title record of 10 (1998) has stood for 25 years and counting. It will take an additional 11 years to break which means this record will stand for atleast 36 years.
The closest active player has 4 (Durant), and...

For an individual achievement I can't think of anything Jordan did that matches this.
In terms of impossibility, no one will do this again in our lifetime.
Al though retiring 3x is something no one will ever do again.

The "greatest scorer ever" always playing catch up
At 1,072 career games
32,292 in 41,011 minutes played vs 29,105 in 41,688 m/p
Not even in totals, let alone average and let alone scoring tittles.... sigh

King Lebron James is no longer just the face of the game for the last 20 years.
He is now its face FOREVER.

How long would Lebron need to play to convince you that he cannot have a 3-peat, dynasty or 6 chips with with any lineup?

Title.
Was looking up some prime Joakim Noah highlights. Man, wasn't he a unique player at his best? Here's a crazy fact: he finished 4th in the 2014 MVP. Was an All-Star, 1st team All-NBA, and DPOY that season. He was the best player on that 48-win team.

Even bronies felt empty when he hit the longevity record...which is evident in all their posting
I guess that's what happens when you know it was done by a stat padder in the inflated stats era...who also took longer to reach his totals along the way, than the ones he was passing...for the most part.
That empty feeling you're feeling,...

I find it hard to believe anyone will ever surpass LeBron in turnovers. It takes a very special person to be able to give the opponent the ball more than any other player in NBA history. How great is our gawd? How generous and giving he is. One can never truly appreciate how many crab dribbles and stiff arm drives it took to generate such a large...

hmm, this might explain the lack of effort on both ends of the floor tonight, and being a liability for majority of the game. either on his period or jealousy is a helluva drug.

The GOAT arguments get so focused on stats & rings it just old. That stuff is important no doubt but what about the eye test. If you sat down & watched some of the best games by Lebron, Jordan, Kobe, Kareem, Steph, Giannis, whoever, who looks like the best player? I like stats but if I just look at some players, I just think “Damn he’s good!” ...

Marc Cuban is not ****ing around, I like it.
I also like Ayton, he is an extremely skilled low post scorer, but he is also soft and not great in the PnR, I think he won't be a good fit with both Kyrie and Luka and will probably complain and leave, but hey, if they win a ring,...

Unbelievable game from Ben.
He's immune from criticism at this point because these games are expected from him. Glad he's making 35 million a year to do this. :applause:
