What a good guy, only posted once in his own tribute thread. I remember someone put my name in the title of a thread once and I posted like 10 times in there because I was happy it was a positive thread. We all can learn a thing or 2 from r3

Sounds like projection  Why do you jump to so many conclusions? :lol I defend him, because everyone seems to attack him in every thread for whatever reason, I get it he has different views from y'all. I've defended chewing too, when everyone was piling on. Does that mean I like fat Trumpards now?

well i never argued mj deserved 98 mvp in the first place but he does have some arguments over those guys that pip didnt have against drob. Mj was a much better closer than malone and shaq. He was also a better defender than malone. Pip wasnt a better defender than drob and he wasnt a better closer than drob. Pip is a great 2nd option but hes not...

I would argue that labor camps are not inherent to socialism, Marxism, or communism. The Soviets were far from the first to do this. Nobody is arguing that it was a good thing. It was a thing that happened during the most brutally violent 2/3 generation stretch in western history. As well a know, violence begets violence. The violence of the...

The team he was on was at the time called dream team two but the 94 team is forgotten because it wasn’t the olympics. That and Shaq, Coleman, and I think Larry Johnson making America look bad acting like asses. I think Don Nelson was the coach and he was openly embarrassed. Shaq ran wild but made fun of everyone and showed out along the way. Kemp...

Its irrelevant if hes not winning. As you say hes still the best player but hes still losing alot. All it does is highlight the fact that hes one of the best individual players but not one of the best winners. If your the goat you should have more than 3 chips after that many peak years. I know bron stans dont like it but its about stacking chips...

Yea thats horseshit mate. Can you actually show him averaging as many ppg? Most of your statements are generalities. You don‘t know anything about this topic, better not to „open your mouth“ on it.

Steve Nash has double the MVP's Shaq has. Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden have an equal amount. Doesnt mean shit... it's a media driven narrative award that constantly flip flops between best league player and most valuable to his respective team.

Hard to argue against him not being the best. When was the last time he wasn't the best in the playoffs? Can't remember. (Excluding last year with the injury and joke of a roster) I still don't see anyone outplaying him this year in the playoffs. He's coasting in the reg season and averaging like 26/11/8 on great efficiency... there's nobody...

The difference between 4 and 5 MVP's is the same as MJ's 5 versus Kareem's 6. That isn't the same as 4 versus 1. FMVP is team dependent. Only MJ had a team in his prime that was a contender without him. That is due to Krause, Jackson and not MJ as his record in Charlotte and DC proves. LeBron is a top 5 player in year 17. That isn't...

If it is about stats, then Robinson should have been MVP easily. It was a three horse race. Pippen's "value" is evident based on their performance with and without him. Yet we are hearing he didn't have a case at all 26 years later and that guys who weren't candidates then should have been ahead of him? MJ won MVP in 98' for keeping the...

Shaq played in the peak modern era for international basketball competition between the NBA and the rest of the world... '92 - '08 to be specific. How come he never made a splash? Would his style work against rules with no defensive 3 seconds and heavy zone? What do you think?

Nobody uses vorp bpm and per to be honest but ill concede shaq. He sti has no argument over drob who literally better at everything other than passing. And the no mj argument means nothing. Mj has nothing to do with it. The Bulls were a goat team with mj just like warriors were a goat team with kd. Curry dosnt get more credit now for whatever...

They're very similar players. Both GOAT athletically, with exploitable skill deficiency and poor team intangibles. Big time team hoppers as well. Same plane for them, back end top 10.

Right but bron stans totally ignore the mvp and fmvp argument when it comes to mj qnd bron comparisons so it cant be used here. Ill give you the longevity though but im not sure how important it is if all its really doing is padding his overall stats. Its not like hes dominating 5he competition longer. The more he plays the more he loses.

True--but doesn't this logic also apply to MJ, a perimeter player posited as the GOAT against mostly centers (all who were elite defenders)?
