It’s like people have no memory of how these things go….
Like 1 player in 10 who gets called out like this 15 minutes into their career ends up bad as the people calling them out say. It’s almost as if these topics put an energy into the universe that the players can absorb and use as direct fuel.

I was able to read the story and don't have that subscription. But since you needed it spelled out I will ask the question that you can't answer directly: what did Tuberville accomplish with his hold on military promotions?

This Lounge has been dead for quite some time now. The NBA Forum is where topics are created daily. And I don't know half of those people that post on that Forum. The Lounge is for everything else besides basketball. So why aren't we creating topics of discussion? Why do we have to see Wrestling threads at the top of the page? No one cares...

Great breakdown of the pacers vs Celtics. He really highlights how good Haliburton is and also points out Tatums shortcomings in crunch time.

yea arguable. Think about that. Luka ****ing arguable. But it's true. It's hard for young guys. They gotta do more for longer. Booker is in his moment now, so we'll see.
Edit: @ list tho Jokic, Giannis, and Embiid are superstars. Embiid is just a bitch lol. There might have been one other dude on there that I think is one, but I forgot already....

I think a superstar is someone who is consistently in MVP contention for a period of time. The thing is, people stay 'superstars' after that period is over, so that makes it hard for some people to understand. So you get superteams of dudes who aren't really superstars anymore. Generally with young guys, there are a lot of them on the cusp, but...

The Nanny Stopper was just one of a locker room full of Knuckleheads. You can't build a team full of crazy dudes. You can have one or two if the team has strong leadership to keep them in line. Portland had Sheed. Randolph, Rapist, Wells, maybe some others I am forgetting. And who was the leadership? Bad mix.

“The slam heard round the world” was the reason for the long forgotten Randolph sucker punch that broke Pattersons orbital bone and seems to have transformed him into the Incredible Hulk tossing Sheed, Dale Davis, and Bonzi aside. The original story minus the details:
Sheed and Bonzi hyping them up to wrestle initially pretty much...

2nd level they have to be a top 10 player in the league at some point.
