I have no problem was his ranking's dropping for PPG.
Calling him a 18ppg scorer in 1998 using ranking comparisons is asinine. There are still 48 minutes in a game and the optimal scoring range is between 25-30 ppg for a top calibre player in a team to score and win the game.
The best player in the world in 2021 is going to average 18/8/8 in...

I think you're letting your emotions think instead of looking at this objectively. He's ranked 14 in scoring. That's a fact, and it has nothing to do with MVP voting. He was ranked 13th as a rookie where he scored about 20ppg and I said that if he's ranked 14th as he is today he'd be about 20ppg back in 1998 in a game very similarly played to when...

The last sentence of my post was the most important but you probably didn't make it that far:
Lebron needed a much better cast than the 05' Cavs to be title-worthy...
(while 90' Jordan nearly won the title with a worse cast on both sides of the ball than the 05' Cavs... aka the bulls had the #19 defense and got much less offense from their...

What a garbage society we live in. If Jurors all vote one way, the world is happy. If they go the other way, schools have to prepare to be burned. I get we don't have faith in police officers, but wtf does that have to do with jurors and their opinion? Jurors exist for a reason...

Yeah, I usually don't order anything outside of the rodizio besides a bottle of wine. Every once in a while, I'll order shrimp cocktail because their shrimp is pretty big. Their service pre covid, and during covid era is always top notch.

35 year old LeBron was 2nd in the MVP race in the most competitive era ever.
36 year old LeBron was leading the MVP race before the injury
He'd crush the 90s in his mid 30s.

Also keep in mind ppg throughout a season does not mean "better scorer" it just means able to keep up the pace throughout the season. Age slows you down, his ranking keeps dropping. I'm just pointing that out while trying to point out that people in the 20-5 rankings of today are getting a lot higher numbers than the 20-5 spots were getting back...

Your post is intellectual gibberish. The thread is about the 2018 Cavs not the 2005 Cavs. LeBron wasn't the same player in 2018 as 2005. The roster is completely different other than LeBron. It's a wildly different league dynamic between those two years.
Your evaluation of the 2005 team is utter nonsense in its own right, but that's not...

Kblaze is the worst. We have Steph over here commanding doubles at half court dropping 50 on 25 shots, and he thinks the outcome would be the same if if he scored 40 on 40 shots with way less gravity provided. Games are often decided by 5-10 points but none of these rates or contexts matter. Joke. But he's older so you can't say nothing. Even for...

I use to go to the one in LA a lot for their lunch which use to be around 30 bucks. I then discovered a little joint in Buena Park (nothern orange county) called Porto's which is like a a la carte bakery near knotts or down the street for Disney which i've come to frequent when I go see my brother. I believe they have a location in Downey too...

LeBron being the 14th leading scorer in 2021 means he would be the 14th leading scorer in 1998 according to your stats. First of all this is 3ball levels of retard. Never go full retard.
2nd all this tells me is that the league is getting better today than before, and while LeBron can still maintain 25ppg, there's even more scoring ability...

He was real excited to be playing in Madison Square Garden even with barely any fans there. Knicks fans just need to wait a few years. Meanwhile, Randle and that defense can keep the team relevant until then.

While I understand there's no such thing as a linear stat transfer via ranking, I also understand there's no linear transfer via raw stats. The game was different back then, period, and it affects anyone who's ever potentially able to play back then.
Why don't some of you actually speak on some of the nuances of the game if you're going to...

The level of contests on shots was simply FAR SUPERIOR in a no-spacing environment - every shot is an impossible shot that would never be attempted in today's spaced-out free-for-all:

BLM doesn't really have any real leadership or unity. It's not even a single group but many groups claiming to be BLM. It is every BLM group for themselves so yes many people claiming to be BLM have taken advantage of the situation for their own personal benefit.
It is unfortunate but humans have this tendency born of greed, selfishness and...

Plenty of guys have good intangibles but the scoreboard only cares about made shots. Some things are black and white. If one guy shoots 90% from the foul line and another guy shoots 75% there is only 1 way to interpret that.
Nobody has ever shot the ball like Steph, or even been close. Now there have been guys who were so good taking it to the...

These facts hurt you and make you post about pomegranate:
The 90' Bulls had the #19 defense and got less offense from their sidekick than 05' Zydrunas, so Jordan nearly won the title with a worse cast on both sides of the ball than the 05' Cavs, while Lebron needed a much better cast to be title-worthy.
