"All they do is shoot threes"
"Players should be loyal to their teams!" - It's almost always Jordan and Kobe stans who say this. I mean, yeah. But nobody in their right mind stays in a working environment they are unhappy in and know it's time for a change.
"NBA is just like WWF" - pretty sure tpols believes this in a literal sense...

The reason for defining the gather step in the NBA was to get out of calling traveling. It just looked bad with the referees ignoring dozens of blatant travels so they added language so you couldn’t say it was traveling anymore. It’s still traveling in the extreme vast majority of basketball ever played and the basketball played right now. Most...

acting like a player is great bc they're having a good game but their body of work is complete garbage aka the bradley beals of the world.
being in awe of cheap tricks like draining 3s from the logo but they can't play a lick of defense and are in fact a liability in that and other important aspects that are conducive to winning...shit, i could...

1. Barking at people who miss free throws
This fan assumes free throws are the true test of basketball greatness. While FT's matter, they are All-Important to the Casual Fan.
2. Acting unimpressed by great plays
The casual fan doesn't know what's difficult to do, and what's not. So they act unimpressed by it all, as if this suggests...

What's the status on Porizingis? Is he out of the finals, day-to-day or confirmed to be back? Boston was a net rating of 0 in the first games when he was off the court, completely changes the dynamic of the team. Shame he's so injury prone.

My point wasn't that the '96 Sonics > '24 Celtics. I responded to your point about the '96 Magic being the best opponent. As for Grant, then keep in mind his injury came in game 1, but people forget Chicago was already up by 20 in the 3rd quarter. That series was a wash with or without him.
Hersey averaging 16 PPG was more of being a 4th...

Feels like the main advantage is it's a lot slower so you don't have to make quick decisions. You can take your time to observe what the defense is doing and pick it apart.

everyone says ernie is the glue guy on Inside the NBA, and that may be so...but the comedy starts and stops with Chuck. Ernie may know how to reel everyone in and keep some semblance of an organized show, but Chuck is the one making everyone laugh. Show will never be on the same level without him. I'm sure Amazon or another network/studio will try...

Stop pretending - I've almost never been beaten in a debate on here - I'm not undefeated but a better record than anyone on here and better predictions, such as Celtics in 5 this year (you had the Mavs) or the Nuggets SWEEPING the 23' Lakers (I was the only one on this forum that voted sweep).. And countless other correct prognostications complete...

Jokic, Curry, and Tatum developed dominant champions or dynasties, whereas Luka and Lebron never will due to their obviously inferior brand of ball that prevents the best chemistry and therefore needs more talent (more help)..
On the championship level, Lebron and Luka have underwhelming teams and underperforming casts regardless of cast...

I've been impressed more than I'd like with the ability of guys like White and Horford to hit 3s.
It's tough to beat a team that has smart defenders like that who can also knock down 3s.
Celtics are not at all unbeatable though, but they have a real talent surplus that people like me haven't recognised. Jrue, Derrick White, Brown, Tatum,...

, for calling out the BS; Biden was congratulating the paratroopers who were behind him; of course, the right-wing media cut that out.
Biden is just fine. The felon is off the rails.

I CALLED out Instragram instead. Every time I try to find a video, I get a DM from their AI saying they couldn't find it. And I told them they don't have true AI. They said, I'm right but they consider themselves weak AI right now, but not in the classical way.
AI is just a boring, everyday word now. It's not what we all grew up thinking it...

It has its benefits; for one, basketball is a war of attrition. Exploiting a mismatch in the post can not only wear down that targeted defender, it can also put them in foul trouble. How you play offense is how you make your opposition play defense. And you can affect their play on offense by making them work on defense.
And secondly, this...
