The owner of the largest hotel(and the 4th largest) in downtown San Francisco will stop making mortgage payments this year because they don't think crime, homelessness and the business coming back after COVID will get better anytime soon. Already half of the businesses in downtown have closed since COVID. 107 out of 203. 12 businesses have opened...

Probably….right?
The Saudi’s have unlimited finances and threw deals at PGA guys too good to decline. Dudes got 200 million signing bonuses…but some refused.
Rory is said to have turned down like 500 million and Tiger said no to 800. 800 ****ing million dollars. He said no.
But some small time(relative) guys did too. One guy who has 15...

Basketball being a team sport, the 'while winning championships' part comes first. Stephon Marbury showcased his talent. I mostly agree with your point but the question is how long are you able to win playing a certain way, especially with the same franchise. Durant's iso way of playing the game does showcase his talent but he didn't do much as...

It is not Monday Morning quarterbacking, Reinsdorf and Pippen's own people told him not to sign it before he signed it. But he wanted it. Everyone knows this except you for some reason.

Jordan legitimately never had a "bad" playoff series. The ones that come closest to that would be his '96 Finals & '97 ECF. But they don't match the lows of 2011 LeBron, 2016 Curry, 2020 Kawhi, 2004 Kobe, KD last year etc.
Come to think of it, prime Shaq honestly never had a truly bad series either.

My literal argument is that Brown is AllNBA and Ingram isn't even an allstar. Butler has nothing to do with it from my perspective. Butler has made these awards numerous times and also had a history of great playoff performance including this postseason that puts him in a different class from Ingram who has only been an allstar once and only...

Does anybody have less "lows" in their playoff primes compared to MJ as far as "production"? Not really factoring in win, loss, or clutch factor.
Even in his worst five series (probably 88 Pistons, 92 Knicks, 96 Sonics, 97 Hawks, 97 Heat, maybe a random 98 playoff series?), he's still out there producing at a high level. Even Lebron, who I...

Pippen's a dummy anyway, he was OK with talking about the 1.8 seconds thing, but then realized when he watched the documentary that it made him look stupid to sit there and say he would still do it the same way all over again (lol).
That's ON SCOTTIE though. This dude cannot take responsibility for anything without having to blame other people...

They were blown out in the fourth until they got on a furious run near the end but it wasn't enough. Murray not doing well didn't help things either.

The funny thing about Scottie's bullshit about Phil Jackson is he convienantly leaves out that Pippen DID get the ball in 17 seconds left and a chance to go iso and finish the Knicks off that same very game ... and what does he do? Put up a HORRENDOUS shot that was not even close to going in, lol.
No one mentions that, including Scottie. Phil...

Jordan said scoring 8 per quarter was easy as pie for him.
What's wrong with wanting to win a scoring title anyway? If you have the ability to do it and can do it within the context of winning championships which Jordan clearly could, then show the world your talent.
If you have the talent to do something but don't want to push yourself to...

Jimmy isn’t the quality shot creator his cult members want to believe he is.
He’s a very interesting life/career trajectory, and is a very good all around player.
And at least one game per year, he appears to be the best two way player on earth.
But what about the other 360-some days ?

Luka can win 3+ titles if he gets a team of 3&D guys, and a Brook Lopez stretch rim protector. But the odds of getting all that and Denver losing enough of their rotation players to let the Luka squad past …. And Luka staying healthy in his later 20’s at his current weight … I think he won’t win chips until Jokic gets 2-3 of his own.
All that...

I'm starting to get bullish on the Heat, not gonna lie. My heart wants Jimmy B to win a ring but I'm really starting to like their chances. I'm not a betting man but if I was and had some fukk around money laying around, I'd put money on them, anybody who still thinks they're a fluke are fooling themselves. Can't blame the odds makers though, it's...

Ortg isn't a cherry picked stat. It measures efficiency for the entire game. Teams make runs off and on during every game. In the end Denver's ORTG of 124 is well above their playoff average and also well above the league leader during the regular season.
Cherry picking is looking at a short stretch of a game that fits your narrative. For...
