Thinking back over the last decade i think the only time we were turned down by a high profile free agent was Horford back in 2016. He chose Boston
who obviously had a better roster.
Our illustrious GM couldn't stand having cap space available, its like it was burning a hole in his pocket, so he immediately threw a big money deal to.....

Their entire starting line got DPOTY votes. Timelord was leading the DPOTY campaign, but he got injured so the media just kinda looked at the Celtics and chose the next best defensive player. :lol Timelord is unbelievable, you can argue he was the most impactful player in the finals. His +/- was also absurd in terms of Boston did with him on and...

I felt like Tatum played better defense too, at least in the playoffs.

I didn’t watch a ton of Boston games this season but during the Finals it was fairly obvious to see that Williams had much more defensive impact then Smart.

You can clearly see the abundance of insecurity, hypocrisy and levels of desperate obsession just by looking at the image shown above. What makes it even worse is that this thread isn't the only one.

Marcus Smart was the best defender on the Celtics this season.
Marcus Smart was the best defender in the nba this season.

You keep it moving. Unless Steph wants him moved (which I don't think he will), you run it back. Key this summer is grabbing Looney and GPII on multi-year deals, and hopefully Otto can also resign. No other team is going to want a guy that can't score or shoot which gets paid all star money. Dray's going to talk a lot from now on for his podcast,...

Wow this is a fcking dumb thread.
Could they repeat? Sure.
Easiest lock for a repeat? Now that’s retarded :lol
I honestly think the Bucks would’ve beaten them had Middleton stayed healthy.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Jazz assistant Alex Jensen, Toronto Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin, and Phoenix Suns assistant Kevin Young were all finalists for the vacant job.

Not really... If healthy the clippers, nets, lakers, bucks and Celtics all have 2 stars capable of 25+ ppg... Warriors 2nd option is 18 ppg. Will their chemistry overcome,a talent disadvantage? Maybe. But its not a lock.

don't they usually get 5 year deals? Not many make it close to that long.
I don't think they're necessarily that far away. Need a coach to demand defensive effort from everyone including Mitchell which COTM couldn't do

No. If they lose Looney that will hurt. Wiseman is a total question mark. Dray is a mess.
Denver might actually be the favorite with a healthy Murray and MPJ.

Ok, so I just want you to know that you are factually misleading people and nothing is going to change your mind, clearly, because you're just arguing from a belief standpoint rather than a rational and objective one. I literally just laid it out for you.
But here you go, straight from their website...

Useless Draymond Green learning how to shoot wide-open jump shots again would go a long way.

More playoff wins than the Spurs have had over the last 5 seasons too.
If we’re being honest more posts than you’ve made about the Spurs over that amount of time too :lol

Davis carried that team more than Bronie did. No AD, no playoffs. That's been proven.
On the other hand - no Lebron, no difference.

In that game seven they lost to the Suns.
The Suns were given over 64 free throws and only won by 13.
I can not imagine the reaction people would have nowadays if a team was given 64 free throws in a game seven of all things.
The sonics got flat-out robbed by the Refs as all of their stars were put in foul trouble.
