Remember that carrying the scoring load MATTERS because carrying the "star" category of scoring requires less stars, which allows GM's to get the right defenders/others, aka elite roster construction.. So Lebron prevents elite roster construction compared to guys that can carry the scoring load (non-ball-dominators) like Curry, MJ, Kobe or Duncan.

I would personally say that was his peak as an offensive player. I never saw a player dominate a postseason like LeBron did that year. Monster game after monster game and a shit ton of clutch moments.

it's not about guarantees though, it's about the fact that the warriors were not battle tested to their limit because their competition faced major injuries. then the cavs winning in 2016 against all odds just made it clear that lebron could dominate curry. when the warriors stacked the deck, it was obviously unfair but the stigma remained.

It would either be a three team deal...because Lebron goes where he wants or at the end of the season Giannis opts out

Similar to Jordan's 6 rings, Curry won inn 2015 and 2022 by defeating max defensive attention, aka carrying the scoring load and a team of secondary producers.
These secondary producers averaged 10-20 ppg, while Lebron enjoys elite-producers and franchise players at sidekick that had their own team and average 25-30 ppg - they often led Lebron...

If the Warriors were healthy they would have won the championship in 2016 too but it doesn't matter because it is hypothetical. I don't need to rebut things that didn't actually happen.

Any creative person can come up with training gimmicks that are no less helpful and that's exactly what was going on even 60 years ago when child prodigies like Pete Maravich were doing every dexterity drill imaginable. I literally don't believe the dexterity or timing drills Steph does are any better than what say, Pete Maravich did. Any...

No worries, I can tell you don't have any real rebuttals about this since it's obvious KD would've won in 2012 if Wade/Bosh were injured.

The problem is that when people look at a players history they dont just pick out one or two years and ignore the rest if they have any sense.

Obviously, my point is that what I'm saying actually applies context, and the existing narrative doesn't have any context and is wrong.
So your bolded is not a valid response to my thread.
And then again, yet AGAIN, you go PAST 2015 to the 2016 year with Kd vs Curry. There is no point is going to 2016 because the narrative I am talking about...

The problem is that the narrative in your OP doesn't actually exist. The actual narrative that exists is that Curry won before and after KD. You are just trying to revise history to make apologies for KD.
KD had the chance to beat Curry in the playoffs but he didn't. He could have stayed in OKC to try again but he decided to take the easy road...

OP's also acting like it's 100% guaranteed the Cavs win if they're fully healthy in 2015, when while I'd assume most would say it's likely, it's not a certainty. The facts are they literally lost the only game Kyrie played in that series, then the Cavs had to squeak out a 7 game series the following year with Curry having the worst series of his...

Lebron was scoring 25 ppg on poor percentages in games 1-4 of the Finals. He only started dropping bombs once JR Smith took out Andrew Bogut in game 5. Andre Iguodala’s back was messed up too and he could barely get up and down the court. 2016 was Curry’s peak. He was unreal that year. He tore his MCL in the playoffs and was gimped. 2015 Cavs got...

LeBron and Austin should come off the bench.
Luka can carry a unit by himself if you give him a center that can cut and some shooters.
Lakers second unit with Reeves and LeBron would be unstoppable.

The problem with this is the majority of the board is retarded and you might as well not visit if you start putting people on ignore for being retarded, which OP clearly is.
He is right the Warriors only won in 2015 due to injuries. But they also only lost 2016 due to LeBron baiting Draymond. So eh.

Again, what happened in 2016 or any time after is NOT RELEVANT.
I'm simply saying that this narrative of Curry winning before Durant is a little dumb considering Durant would've won in 2012 if Bosh/Wade didn't play...
Do you really think OKC loses if Bosh/Wade don't play?

I haven't said a word about Hurts in this thread until yesterday cause they were playing my injury depleted Chargers. So whatever someone else has said about Hurts doesn't pertain to me, Rocky.
I haven't said anything about Sanders except how DUMB he is for getting multiple speeding tickets in such a short period of time. So you can't point to...

Curry beat KD in the playoffs prior to KD joining them. Did you forget about that?
Curry won before AND after Durant so it's very likely he would have won at least another ring if Durant never joined them when their big 3 was in their primes.
