Inflation pays the bill. That's kicking the can down the road.... Wages don't keep up with inflation.
Your average 18-22 year old cannot just pack their things and leave the nest to go live comfortably in a one bedroom apartment like they could in the year 1999.
after rent, food, utilities, and transportation bills are paid there's nothing...

He's played with Reeves for several years, does he seem adamant to trade him? You think he didn't sign off off on Luka? GTFO with this bullshit, man.

Dude I suggest you check DeAndre Aytons playoff numbers. He has great production, super efficient with always double double. Hes a MASSIVE upgrade for Lakers over Jackson Hayes or whoever.
If anything you have it backwards. His numbers were better in the playoffs than they were in the regular season. I checked the numbers and didnt believe...

Cavs are in good shape to make the Finals, Mitchell probably would've led them there this year if not for all the injuries they sustained. I think the team that drops off the most next year is Minny, unless they make certain changes in their frontcourt they'll always be at a disadvantage playing 4 on 5 offensively. With any hope, after that big...

Led to it? They are literally the same thing :oldlol:
Look, I think it's obvious to both of us that you didn't properly comprehend my words. The average blue collar wage went up because the illegals are gone, and NOT because companies are throwing out lots of raises. You can try to twist it into something else, like no one wants gardening now....

East is locked unless significant movement happens. West is a bit more open. I could realistically see the Nuggets or Rockets in place of the Thunder. Should be one of those 3.

Valanciunas was initially pleased with the trade to Denver, seeing it as a chance to contribute to a championship contender’s rotation. Per Marc Stein, the trade between the Kings and Nuggets can’t be made officially until Sunday. For Sacramento, it’s crucial that the trade goes through for salary cap purposes. However, the offer from...

Assuming everyone is healthy, shouldn't the finals basically be boiled down to these three teams?
The Thunder should be even better next year because they have championship experience/confidence (similar to the Warriors ump from 2015 to 2016).
Pacers/Celtics are off the table due to Achilles tears and subsequent roster moves.

Shams Charania: Free agent center Jaxson Hayes has agreed on a one-year deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell ESPN. Hayes’ agents, Bill Duffy and Marlon Harrison of WME Basketball, finalized a contract with Lakers president Rob Pelinka on Thursday. – via x.com

Title odds don't actually mean anything though. Ayton does not move the needle at all for the Lakers in the playoffs, although he will help during the regular season.
Not sure that adding Wiggins to this current team does much either...
The Lakers have talent but so much of it is redundant. They simply aren't going to be a well built team...

At what point do we stop saying a guy is one of the best? top 60? I'm not sure where Porter world rank on a list of the league's best scorers but how often is a guy this on his team in scoring, doesn't average 20, but is somehow regarded as one of the best scorers in the league? There are actual great players that never averaged 30.

The Republicans who passed that bill today are traitors to their nation. They gave up on their constituents and pushed something through that primarily helps themselves and the rich. If you are a middle-class or lower-class Republican and cheered for this, congratulations. You got what you wanted - a grave dug for your future and most of the...

Even with Grant in 95 I just don't think they beat Houston ( maybe they squeeze past Orlando). You're talking a team that pretty much would have had 6 deep playoff runs by then (assuming they win in 94, the 91-93 titles, and back to back ECFs in 89 and 90). But I'm figuring Grant staying around also means they don't land Rodman in 96, and he was a...
