I mean I've been saying it for years.
Giannis is a tremendous athlete but it feels like half the time he is traveling or charging.

What do you mean if he could have he would have?
Wilt had triple doubles with blocks when they reviewed the footage. He was swatting shots left and right in an era where the blocked shot statistic didnt exist.
What are you smoking bro? I need some of it.

You may as well give up. Everyone is wrong sometimes. Or in your case, all the time. It's OK.

The democrats can't win unless something catastrophic happens over the next 3 years during Trump's term but even that would require a total reboot of the party. This last election wasn't just a rejection of Kamala, it was a rejection of the party as a whole.
That is why Newscum is trying to warm up to the middle by dumping the trans athletes...

He definitely couldn't or he would have.
You are kidding yourself.
Wilt was fast af and strong af for his height and he had a higher vert for sure but he could not cover the same amount of ground in the same amount of time WHILE ALSO MAKING A LEGIT CONTEST OF THE SHOT like Wemby does. He is 1 of 1.
If he could have, he would have.

Yes he could athletically. Even moreso. Wilt had combine Olympic measurables at over 7 feet tall and was more muscular and balanced. Wemby has much better dribbling and shooting skill and more length but not a ton more. He would honestly get beat up 1v1 vs Wilt if they had to body each other, no flopping. Only way he'd win is shooting over the top...

People tend value older legends over current ones that have not finished their story yet. It’s always been that way. Mr. Fonzcuck is a prime example.
I remember during LeBrons early 2009-2013 years many people at the time thought prime Dr. J and Bird were better players. Now it’s accepted that LeBron peaked higher than both.

The world is blessed to have you as one of it's saviors. My new vaccine works best when injected into the buttocks and I will have to administer the injection from behind. Just let me know when your body is ready.

Getting all those ball handlers was just weird. Someone has to finish and play defense.

And as far as the court size goes, it's a hell of a lot bigger when you're the one out there running on it as opposed to just sitting there and watching.

Wilt absolutely could not do what Wembanyama could do. He just flat out couldn't. That's revisionist mythical Wilt bullshit.
And while the players were better than people give them credit for, overall they were substantially less athletic and smaller than today.

Funny some of the early replies in this thread, the absolute incredulousnsss, the outright gall that I dare pose the question....yet where we were. Outside of way too many 3s last year the potential and ceiling was and is beyond obvious. I'm gonna give it the year and not play prisoner of the moment, but yeah. Those monks and Hakeem have unleashed...

I'm saying even when I went to games where normal pros were playing sitting behind the FT line looking vertically... the court is much slimmer than what you see on wide angle TV view. So it makes it even that more egregious with a freak like Wemby.
Also Wilt could pretty much do that too. I think they widened the court for him as well with the...

They are plenty wide. The problem is Wembanyama. Nobody has ever existed that can consistently cover the same amount of ground in the same amount of time and still go for a block. He is 1 of 1 in NBA history.
If they want to neutralize him in the league office, yes, they will have to make the court bigger and the three point line a bit further...

Jordan 1s in particular the low tops will never be out of fashion. 3s are pretty versatile for wear.
The 11s on the other hand are out of fashion, in particular the Concord.

Basketball courts look much bigger on TV than they do in person at games. Much wider, but they're really not. With his length and quickness he can pretty much cover space instantly.

Nobody is denying he's a great basketball player but the way refs reward constant foul baiting for cheap free throws makes it hard to watch the NBA nowadays

"I have to be a lot better. I only had 31 points, 14 rebounds & 6 blocks which is an awful statline for me. It might be a good statline if your name is Joel Embitch and you flop like a fish the whole game."

No he absolutely doesn't. He is just doing what other guys are doing it is just more noticable with him because he drives more often and just won MVP. I didn't see anyone complaining about it 3 years ago when he averaged 31 ppg.
If he didn't foul grift at all he would be putting his team at a disadvantage. It is the fault of the refs that they...

Wembanyama is already better than everyone ever, including peak Duncan.
You absolutely can not appreciate just how good he is defensively and how scared teams are without watching the games. His impact is so far beyond the box score you just have to watch to see it.
He is so far clearly the best defensive player ever and with the offensive...
