I was addicted to CS and TFC like a drug until about 2001 when I kept getting banned left and right for wallhacks and aimbot. I knew over 20 different text glitches for TFC which were undetectable, I used to drive the other players INSANE! Man, in TFC, I used to love to camp at spawn points with a demoman and wreak havoc, especially in the Murderball map. I'd kill dozens of people at a time in mere seconds! I miss those days when online gaming was like a whole new world opening up. :oldlol:

There are over 4k servers for Source. 1.6 has quite a few also. You can only find hackers for 1.6. For Source, there are the usual hackers. More than before at least.

I dont see as many hackers as I used to mainly b/c I play on funmap servers. I can only play so much dust/dust2/aztec/assault/de_/cs_ maps.

BTW, CS source is 10x better than 1.6. Better graphics, more realistic, not as much hackers, gameplay.....

Best multiplayer FPS i ever played, i started with CS as soon as it came out even with the beta mod late 1998 somewhere, no game robbed so much time of my life, in 2001-02 i went "pro" for a while (CPL Berlin in 2001 for example, we and everybody else were raped by the legendary Ninjas in Pyjamas), i played until about 2003-04, just simply played to much, got bored......... then came Battlfield 1942, Battlefield 2 and resolved that boredom issue :)

really easy to play. kids back then starts with this(before playing other pc games), we rent those pc for 15 peso per hour, playing like there's no tomorrow. esp on lan, people will throw every insult known to man. lol

Every time I went to the local malls there, in the arcades they'd be all over some CounterStrike. LOL. That, and still played old fighters like Soul Caliber.

Believe it or not, Tekken Tag is still frequented by most people who actually still go to arcades. :oldlol: And yeah, up til now, every computer shop I go to still has Source and 1.6 on their games list.

Some of the players I've run into are ridiculous on the servers I play on. I used to do cal-o years and years ago. Played a few former CPL players (these are like international competitions), got destroyed. I'm lethal when I am trying with an awp sniper.
