Wow. I didn't expect THAT. That looks pretty damn cool. I was expecting some crappy, half-baked, solid colored shoe, but those were fresh. The side view kinda reminded me of my TS Lightspeeds though.

I have a pair. Chuck Hayes' (he's not with them anymore).

They are pretty sweet, and they aren't breaking down or anything like that (although I don't play in them). They are very comfortable.

Whether or not they'll make it.... it's tough since Nike, Addidas, Reebok, and Converse already have quite a hold on the market. But all it takes is one hot pair of shoes on one marketable player so....

They are around 600 yuan which is about $80 retail. From what I heard the quality on authentic chinese branded shoes are great.. A lot better than the fake jordans etc, therefore a lot of chinese consumers choose to buy it. The brands like Li-Ning, Peak, Anta all have shoes for around $50 or less which is more accessible to chinese consumers.

We think of $200 sneakers as a pretty common price here in the states, but in china some ppl don't even make $200 in a entire month.
