Amare was measured 6'8.5" at the 2002 pre-draft camp and the Suns claimed he grew to 6'9.25". Shaq measured 7'1" legit without shoes at the 1992 pre-draft camp. His shoes are big though, like 2 inches. Maybe Shaq grew a little too since he was just 20 in '92 as well. Either way the 3" difference the NBA lists is laughable.

By the way Bynum looks huge, 7'1" and over 300 pounds.

He doesn't look that skinny anymore. He weighs quite a bit more than guys like Kobe and Rip Hamilton. Both are elite shooting guards. He averaged over 20 points on 43% shooting in his rookie season in just 34 minutes. Not bad at all, he'll be fne.

why does everyone insist Durant add muscle?

you need muscles to hit jumpers and daggers?

how much muscle did Reggie Miller have? Iverson? Larry Bird?

To cut to the basket because you don't have the quickness or the crossover of Iversion?

Because you don't have a capable PG feeding you the ball like Mark Jackson did for Miller?

Because you don't have a capable PG feeding you the ball like Dennis Johnson did for Bird?

He should add muscle it will only help himself and his team.

lol. i said it before laker fans are in for a rude shock when they figure out how much they've been overrating him.having said that, i think he is a legit 14 and 10 player. but nothing like the numbers and the rankings he is projected at.

thats ok, gasol can be the scorer, but they just need bynum to be that 14 10 guy and be the defensive anchor. his time will come when kobe slows down but right now thats all they were missing to beat boston.

I meant 14 and 10 now and 18 and 10 is his max potential. he played less then half of a season and have are talking about like he is the messiah. just two years ago i saw an ancient moutombo get 23 rebounds against him and directly block him like 5 times. he is gonna be good, but not as great as people are making him out to be.
