Man, it's a nice organ just a few blocks from me just chillin' on the side of the road. Looks like the organ Jimmy Smith/Booker T play. I went to try to pick it up, but it was too heavy. Gotta wait 'til someone gets home and it's too early to call one of my boys up.
Hopefully it's still there in a few hours ...

The things people throw away these days. :oldlol:
Not a bad deal if you know how to play.

Hell, even if you don't know how to play, it's a Hammond! :pimp:
Looks similar to this one.

I always wanted to learn how to play Led Zeppelin's No Quarter. John Paul Jones created the ultimate mood with a Hammond for that tune.

Pops just had to go to his cousin house this early in the mornin'. I called about 4 of my boys, no answer, moms is at church. Oh, there is one guy I know who is up now and I could call, but um, he's a piano player too. If I called and told him there was an organ outside, he be over there before I hung up the phone.

What kind is it? Is it a B3?! I'm with tetris on this one, build a fort around it if you have too. Even if it doesn't work it's still probably worth around a few grand. Sh*t, lucky bastid.
Bouts to head back over there right now ...
if it's that big of a find, as you guys are letting on, chances are it's broke.

Woohoo, just got back from getting a brand new FREE organ. It's in the back of moms pathfinder right now. Lady said it work, (when I went back over there she was out washing her car. Said it was her daughters but since she's moving out, doesn't want it anymore.)

It would've been funnier if you said, "Hammond Organ find you!"

Should check if it's an A3 or a B3. Was the speaker box with it?

Where would I check to see if it's an A3 or B3. No speaker box with it (a Leslie right?), it looks just like this.

OK ISH'ers, this seems to be what I got today. Either a Hammond M-100 or 102, (they look almost identical.) This is just from lookin' at it, I haven't found anything on the side or bottom that confirms it's a M-100 or 102.
Hammond M-100 series Production years: 1961

Yeah, no leslie which is worth the most in some cases. They are really cool if you like to do studio work. People rig them up to guitars and all sorts of stuff for unique sounds.
Looks like you might have a B1. Look up different pics of hammonds.

based on the pic in the 3rd post, it looks like a hammond L-103. A lower end model, but still very solid. Not on the B3/C3 level, but got a good sound. need to pick up a leslie speaker. I had an L-103 back in Hschool and used it alot. hard to get the pedals down (particularly with big jumps in the bass line, rather than walking lines). Did you get it?

pretty sure that this pick (if this is a pic of the actual organ) is an L-103.
