Ginger Ale and Mountain Dew.

Every time i go to my relatives house they always have ginger ale and that is seriously all i drank and everytime i say "im gonna get a lot of ginger ale when i get home and never do."

My second favorite drink would have to be orangina. its fizzy orange juice pretty much and made in France. I love it. I first had it in France. Drinks made out of USA > drinks made in USA. Coke is way better in UK, France and mexico then it is in the USA.

Beer is a taste you have to acquire after a while. I doubt many people actually enjoyed the first few beers they ever had, but once you learn to like it it's so refreshing as im sure you all know. Id have to go with export premium dry as my favourite beer at the moment.

my best recommendation, since I don't know what market you're in so I don't know what they sell there, is to go out and find some locally brewed stuff, go to a pub with a micro-brewery or something, and start tasting and trying them. After a while you'll start to get an appreciation for the differences. My best advice is don't listen to other people who are devoted to only one or another. Taste is a very personal thing, so don't be turned away from something just because someone else says that they don't like it, and don't be afraid to not like something that everyone else swear by.

yeah I've progressed from "its the worst thing Ive ever tasted" to the point where I can pretty much ignore the flavor.

for everyone that mentioned Moosehead, I'm a geographer here in Saint John where they brew it, and I was up in a plane not too long ago for my job evaluating watercourses and I have this shot where you can see the Brewery in the air (the coloured portion of the photo). Actually since we took this they've been expanding I think over 150% capacity, maybe even doubling, so there is a lot of good news in the future for Canada's largest home-owned brewery.

It's not worse than other sodas. It doesn't coat your teeth as much as Coke, either. Take a sip of Dr. Pepper and then grind your teeth...it feels totally normal. Take a sip of Coke and then grind your teeth...it feels like you could grind them into powder if you tried hard enough.

You know, traditionally they're not supposed to be mixed together. In Mexico they put the lime there to detract mosquitos. They're traditionally not supposed to be mixed, but no one listens to that. Just like wasabi and soy sauce. If you're in Japan, you'd rarely see that at all, and the Japanese hate it when people do that.

wang, that's one of the silliest things I've ever heard because nothing tastes better than a lime in a corona. it's a fact, jack.

Basically it's all about the bottle. Corona was a rather cheaply made beer, in a cheap bottle. They save money by putting it in a clear bottle. The reason that colored bottles are better is because it keeps light out. When light, and perhaps especially sunlight, hits a clear bottle, it obviously goes right through and hits whatever is inside. The problem with this is that it causes free radicals to be released in the massive amount of only a few parts per billion. However, we are extremely sensitive to what is released - the chemical composition is nearly identical to what is in a skunk's glands. Obviously you've heard of skunky beer before, and this is what they are talking about. Now, when you have a dark bottle, it slows down this process tremendously, almost completely, but the bottles cost more to produce. It's the same kind of deal with Turner milk putting their milk into solid yellow containers, but they cost a little more.

So basically, when confronted with this issue, the marketers at Corona came up with a rather simple way of combating this skunkiness - suck a lime while drinking, and it was a huge hit. Other beers don't taste as good with a lime because they are typically in a colored bottle or solid can and don't have these free radicals in them.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to filter a liquid through a nonporous substance like diamond. Basically, this vodka is touching some diamonds, which would likely do nothing to enhance the flavor, but everything to jack up the price.

shut up you clown. you're an idiot, just like those fools.

I don't see your point in here, but it's ok. You're used to being wrong. And as far as the point JtotheIzzo made, I believe it. However, we don't go adding lime to MGD and Sols either. Just Corona. Why's that? Cause traditionally in Mexico they used it to detract mosquitos.

Usually JD for social drinking.

Gatorade as an energy drink. Started with the idea of replacing drinking coke with it.

I an more of a Napa fan but I am really gettin into the Old World. I also have found some gems in the Okanogan Valley in Canada. I did a wine tour with a few freinds and it was amazing.
