If Cavaliers lose, LeBron James might as well eat a basketball
chicago is 2-0 versus non-playoff teams and 0-2 versus teams that made the postseason last year. the magic are ALWAYS a bad match up for chitown because the bulls can't stop Dwight Howard from dominating down low. Plus the game was @ orlando. then chicago lost to the Celtics @ Boston where the refs don't even let the game be played, they give the C's every possibly benefit of the doubt and the C's get every last call so that was easily an Loss but it's not like the Celtics are a bad match up for Chicago...their bench is horrible compared to other teams.
so chicago lost @ Orlando and @ Boston. However, I can seem them winning @ Cleveland...unless the refs give the Cavs the Boston special treatment which i can easily see happening. the cavs are a good match up for the bulls.
With the way LeBron is shooting from anything beyond 5 feet, it's an accomplishment just scoring over 25 nowadays. Unless the refs parade him to the foul line as they did in the Dallas game....I don't see him scoring 35, even on an overrated player like Deng.
Other than Rose, the Bulls are such trash.
ummm...you can't take her posts seriously. that 33 23 poster is a hater.
I think Thabo will be guarding Lebron most of the night anyway

I bet you are right. The Bulls are awful at defending the 3-point line, and if you combine that with their inability to keep opposing players out of the paint, the Cavs should hit at least 10 3-pointers in this game.
Lebron normally dominates the Bulls, but the games stay close because everyone defers to him. When the Bulls go into their 10-turnovers-in-a-row phase, the Cavs should be able to capitalize on fast breaks and outside shooting. I'm thinking 103-95 Cavs...but I hope I'm wrong.

I am looking forward to seeing Derrick Rose. Should be an easy win for the Cavs, but I hope they don't rest on their laurels after the impressive road victory over Dallas.

[QUOTE=33 23]Wow. What is with all these guaranteed blowouts being nationally televised? I'll never understand it.
This will be Cleveland's easiest win all year, and if LeBron James fails to score at least 35 points on Luol Deng, he should just quit. This will be LeBron James' easiest test so far, as Deng might be the worst, least athletic starting forward in the game. Rose is coming off a pretty sub-par performance, so look for him to get off to a quick start. Anyway, there's really no way the Cavaliers lose this game

I don't know why this idiot hated LeBron. He's not a ball hog unlike your favorite NBA player, and the guy is filling up the boxscores with assists, rebounds, and steals.
LeBron will score over 30 points unless Mike Brown will not play him in the 4th quarter.

i live in Ohio i get every Cavs game
Lebron fills up the stat sheet because his defense is garbage idk how many steals or blocks he gets for somebody 6'9 260lbs with that athletism his defense should be better than Josh Smith, but its not it really is garbage
Mayo who is only 6'3 200lbs shuts down/contains players who are 5-8 in taller than him held tmac 6'8 7-18 shooting held 6'8 steven jackson 6-21 shooting and those are the type of things that wont show up on the box score.

Wow a high scoring first half for the Cleveland Cavaliers. I hope Mike Brown wouldn't let his starters rests in the 2nd half because the Chicago Bulls are capable of making a huge run in the 3rd quarter.
Bulls lineups looks very short. they are playing Gordon Rose and Hinrich on the same floor each time and theyre not running and gunning.

Rose does seem just about unstoppable going to the rim. A lot of people thought he'd struggle but he has already been the Bulls best player so far.
Rose certainly has the tools to be a superstar in this league. That said, this Bulls team still has all of the problems that have plagued it the past several seasons. They have no semblance of a halfcourt offense and it just doesn't look like these guys are comfortable playing together. They take way too many outside shots and their defense is pretty bad. They play a very low IQ brand of basketball.

It's time for Paxson to quit screwing around and make some trades. I'm not going to be like BULLS and say that no one on this team has any talent but they're just not playing well together. The only positions they're set in are PG (Rose/Hinrich) and SF (Deng/Nocioni). They need a SG, PF and C.

just loved watching ben wallace today. shot only twice, and both were at the end of buzzers, grabbed 6 offensive boards, 14 rebounds all up and got a block, plus some great defense.
delonte west and mo williams were good together, but they need some more experience before they lead this team without lebron on the court.
lebron is back to himself 41-9-6-4 on 13/23 with great freethrow shooting of 15-16. he looked very fluid, but he's not looking at the basket long enough before shooting.
z was just missing shots but still effective.
the bulls need to trade ben gordon and sefalosha in a deal together and get some bigs.
BIZARRO
11-05-2008, 11:53 PM
Rose played pretty well tonight, at least statistically, but I think the knee tendonitis is bothering him a lot more than people realize.
It seemed to me at certain times during the game that he was almost limping up and down the court, and especially in defensive halfcourt sets.
Some of this may be part of the reason he became less aggressive in the second half going to the hole, not boarding as much, and having the effect he normally might near the end.
Once again, 22 and 7 (or whatever the final numbers were) is great, but it seemed to me that he was really hurting out there physically.
If this is the case, it is a shame being as young as he is, and might (but hopefully not) be a cause for worry in the long run.
I don't mean to be a drag, but just calling it like I saw it. And what I saw (the limping, etc.) was a bit troubling.

No, I think deep inside you are rooting for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Another LeBron James Milestone.
With two steals in Dallas on Monday, James reached 700 in his career and became the youngest and fastest player to reach 700 steals, 10,000 points, 2,500 rebounds, 2,500 assists and 300 blocks. The 23-year-old did it in 395 games. Michael Jordan was the second fastest (417 games) and Kobe Bryant (26) the second youngest. ... It was James' 25th career game scoring at least 40 points.

In fairness to the Chicago Bulls they are a solid team, and you drafted Derrick Rose, who's definitely the best player in this draft class because the Kid isn't afraid to drive into the basket, and he's making some brilliant passes to his teammates.
I think Chicago will have a better record than Charlotte, New York, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Clippers, Sacramento, and this current rosters are capable of beating the San Antonio Spurs ( Without Manu) in the Regular Season.
Chicago need to have a dominant big men ala Carlos Boozer because Gooden is very consistent, and his basketball IQ is very low.

I thought he was up to 270 last season. Though yer, he definately looks every bit the 275lbs. Phenomenal really. No other basketball player is built like him. Not even Dwight. Dwight is tank in terms of basketball, but Lebron is just tank in terms of any sport you put him in.
