Tmac= Washedup

he is always injured and he is freakin 29 years old hasnt even reached the magic number of 30 yet

he is suppose to be in his late prime years

but the dudes washed up

15ppg on 39%fg shooting and he is always injured and isnt even playing extented minutes

with the amount of minutes tmac gets his PER should be off the charts he only has to go hard for 30min unlike other star players in kobe lbj mayo who on a consistent bases have to go 40+min a game guarding the other teams best player

when mayo locked you down the first game i thought he was playing good defense but now i realise that you just washed up tmac

Tmac fans tmac haters or tmac ppl who just dont give a dayum

discuss is the dude as washed up as i think or does he still have some miles in his legs

What did he do, get his team bounced out of the first round. This thread is stupid though, T-Mac still has some good years ahead of him. Shaq needs to retire.

LOL me too.I wouldn't say he's washed up, but he definitely is not where he should be, injury or no injury. I really think he has a few years left, but not too many. It's a shame though. He's not my favorite player but I feel bad for the guy. I think he's got until maybe 32. I hope he has longer, but I really don't see that happening unless he takes it easy. Take a few games off, rest, get better. He can't keep getting injured or one of these days its not going to be a recoverable injury.

ronnymac
11-19-2008, 11:45 PM
He played pretty well in the last quarter.he had 11 points in 5 minutes. ccould have had 17 had those 3s that looked good for all money not rolled out. honestly, you're a dumbass

How did tmac get the rockets bounced out of the playoffs. he averaged 28-7-7 in last years series. he had 35 in game 5 and 40 in game 6. get a clue dude.

He's not what he was, but far from washed up. Still a threat to score whenever he has the ball. Or get the ball to someone else. Doesn't get enough credit for his assists.

Yeah, I agree with most of the posters in this thread. He's injured and not what he once was, especially from the Orlando days, but he's far from washed up. He's a big scoring threat on a nightly basis and I think mid season or so, we will see his numbers spike.

It's nothing new with tmac. he is tradionaly a slow starter. besides last season, he has allways played below himself in november and december. he tends to come good after that. early january is when tracy starts to cranck it.

wow i respect that a reasonable tmac fan  i wish kobe fans were like that

and to the dude that said tmac better than mayo as of right now get that shyt out of her look at the numbers read the papers

tmac 15.9ppg 39.9Fg% 36% 3pt (.8-2.3) 81.4%ft 4.5rebs 4.9assist 2tos
mayo 20.1ppg 44.6.FG% 40.7% 3pt (2.2-5.4) 89.2% 4.6rebs 2.4assist 2.6 tos

the numbers speak for themselves

I really think T-Mac is overrated, but he's definitely above average.

He has a tendency to shoot bad shots, and unlike Kobe (usually), he will miss them (usually).

Now, why he's a star is because he can get hot and when I say hot I mean real ****ing hot. He'll make fall away 30-footers on those days.

But when people bring up his ppg I usually bring up his %.

I'm telling you straight out. It's not that we wish we looked like you, or at least me personally. I'm married, I have a beautiful wife I love with a daughter on the way. It's the fact you make these incredibly annoying posts, especially about O.J. Mayo. It's worse than the Kobe and LeBron groupies man. At least these players have played in the NBA for X amount of years and have proven theirselves year after year. Mayo has been good this season no doubt, but you're going all, "Mayo > Kobe" and all this crap. And the f*cker has played like 11 NBA games.

Whatever though. Think what you want of course, just expect to get flamed for idiotic posts which makes posters question if you know how Mayo's c*ck tastes.

1.Making a kissing face with your lips
2.flashing peace sign
3.Cell phone/mirror pictures are lame
4.You look like you're 15

T-Mac is really going to earn a label as an all-time loser and nothing but the biggest underachiever in NBA history if it doesn't at least once in his career make the second round of the playoffs. This guy's act is really getting old. It's the same crap every year.

He only shows up to play for real for a month in the regular season to make sure his team makes the playoffs. Then he shows up to play in the playoffs, but when it comes down to the most crucial ending moments of eliminations games he starts passing the ball off and looking like he doesn't want to get blamed if he makes a turnover or misses a shot at the end.

And every year he starts off with this "I'm so injured I can barely play so don't blame me for whatever happens this year" crap.

Playing on a busted knee and shoulder against the jazz and needing the surgery the very next day after the series is not tough?. go and STFU. you clueless clown.

No, I'm a Jazz fan, so I would know.

No he does not. He is taking that shot.

No he doesn't. He finds a way to tank at the end of the elimination games.

Take it easy chief. I was exaggerating because that guy called TMac top 5 in the league. TMac's great, I'm sure you guys will get out of the first round this year.

Tmac is nowhere near top 10 or 15 right now. once his knee gets better and traditionaly tmac allways fires up by early or mid january, he'll be a borderline top 10 player then. but top 5 is pushing it. unless were talking about playoffs tmac. thats where he starts playing. game 5 against utah he had

29 points in 22 minutes. game 6 he had 40 points 10 boards 5 assists in 33 minutes on 13-26 shooting.

T-mac is still considered a top 5 player in the league. If that is washed up then everyone else is as well.

Not sure why T-Mac is playing this early in the season when he is obviously hurt.

Either the coaching staff are complete retards, or T-Mac wants an excuse for later on in the season.

Either way, there is no reason T-Mac should have been playing last night.

That's why they took the jazz to 6 last year?

He only shows up to play for real for a month in the regular season to make sure his team makes the playoffs. Then he shows up to play in the playoffs, but when it comes down to the most crucial ending moments of eliminations games he starts passing the ball off and looking like he doesn't want to get blamed if he makes a turnover or misses a shot at the end.

Ok troll. is that why he had 40 points 10 boards 5 boards n the elimination game against utah?. what do you want him to do when he is triple teamed?. take low % shots or dish it off to another teammate who has an open look?. i swear, you're hating is beyond logical. it's downright trollish.

The problem he wont get better by resting, he need to strength his need. He need to play just limited minutes. The knee take a while to recover from. Amare although he got a different surgery took a while to get his strength back, T-Mac surgery i less complex so he probably will recover sooner.

Haha, dude, going to Utah down 2-0 is pretty much an elimination game.

But they won Game 5.

Yes. go watch the game 5 and 6. they were both "elimination games". it was tracy single handedly forcing a game 6 in houston by helping the rockets destroy the jazz. and in game 6 we were down 18 points in the second quarter. he had a 20 point burst in 5 minutes to get the rockets to within two points. so how has he not done well in crucial moments.

He didn't do anything at the end of the game of game 6. How many times do I have to repeat the words end of the game? I'm not saying T-Mac isn't a great player because he is. He's probably the most talented player in the world. But I'm just not buying into him as a winner at all anymore, not unless he wins a playoff series.

TMAC is injured....

but he is picking and choosing his time to score....

yeah, as a rockets fan I wish he would magically transform back to his orlando days (athletically not the way he plays the game), but that ain't gonna happen..

I think he is playing a smart game, getting team mates involved, and then trys to take over at certain times...which is sometimes not working due to his injuries.....

He is making sure Ron artest and co is jelling as a team..I like it...

Rockets need to dump rafer...and trade chuck hayes, rookie PF joey dorsey, carl landry (I like carl but..) for maxsteal! Man that guy would help yao so much in terms of sorting the paint out....

Tmac has shot the ball at 50% in te last two games and has a nice 7-13 from beyond the arc in the last two games. he is slowly getting there. right now he is picking his spots when to attack and when to go with the flow.

BUMP i am pretty sure i made this before he was injured for the whole year he is washed up.

When OJ Mayo dropped 32 pts on Tracy Mcgrady in Febuary I was like this dude career is over.

T-Mac is done.. I don't know how anybody can argue? If he ever plays again, he will not very effective by any means. He's coming off micro-fracture surgery which is one of the toughest surgeries to come back from. He really has no chance averaging over 20 PPG either.

He's done, and the Rockets are stuck with him.
