Like Beyonce, Rihanna, Ashanti, Chris Brown, Omarion...etc these days.

Is it harder now as opposed to older days like Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, The Temtpations, Smokey Robinson, Al Green or Curtis Mayfield.

Please tell me. What are the odds or probablilty...PS I know you have to work really hard!

PS:Look: I know I make a lot of music threads, but it's because I have a passion for it: Sorry. I LOVE MUSIC!!!

I think it's much easier these days....just post a video if you singing on youtube. And if you're lucky you can be famous on the internet.

Yeah, Just go on American Idol and make it near the end and if your halfway decent you'll get a contract. Kerry Clarkson, that black chick, Clay AIken, Rubben Studdard, Fantasia, Kerry Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jordan Sparks, Blake Lewis, David Cook, David Archuleta.. All guys that were from American Idol.

it has nothing to do with quality but everything to do with more people having access to radios, media containers and players, tv and internet.

Make a catchy pop song and you're there.

Have a decent voice, then let yourself be heard.
