This should be fun but Duke's got the ability to match Curry on the perimeter shot for shot and can afford to play him man to man.

For Davidson to have a chance Lovedale and Rossiter will have to step it up and Sonya Curry will need to flash the Duke players everytime they're about to take a shot.

She favors Thandie Newton. I bet Dickie V wants to call this game after Melo went out. Ouch.

I can't wait to see how Curry responds to another game being guarded by bigger, longer, more athletic defenders. More like what he'll see in the pros

i love watching him in college. part of me hopes like crazy he stays in college so we can enjoy another season of him and so he can get his body more prepared (stronger) for the next level.

my big worry is that he's going to go all Ed O'Bannon and flame out almost immediately in the NBA.

worst case scenario, i'm hoping he at least sticks as a steve kerr type

It's funny. Mark Jackson and JVG are talking and there's actually crowd noise in the back.

Yea, they need to turn their volume up, I can't hear them for stretches.

Apparently neither can Curry.

He's a 2nd half scorer though. Stay tuned.

Man, Dicky V. said Curry would score 18-20 points per game as a rookie! He also said he would definitely be a superstar in the NBA.

Wish I saw this game. What did Jeff say about Stephen? I don't really respect Tirico and Jackson.

Side note, I really like Gerald Henderson. I think he's great. but I hate the rest of Duke, especially Paulus and Singler.

JVG was hard as hell on him. Mark Jackson was praising him.

They both commented on how much they loved him as a player. Jackson was a little easy on him while Van Gundy took the opposite approach and was a little too hard on him. The big issue Van Gundy had with Curry was his decision making (although I'd like to see him play with players of the same caliber, there were at least two passes early on where his teammates just weren't looking for the ball). Jackson said he could start now and Van Gundy said that he couldn't start for every team, so take that for what you will. Both of them voiced that they thought he was going to be a "good" player in the league, they just varied on how far along he is.

I have a feeling he is going to be a bust in the NBA. He's too small to play the 2 and not a good enough ball handler to be a one. I have a feeling he's gonan be Eddie House...nothing more than that. I've learned not to take what Dick V has to say to heart....when the Raps drafted Bosh he said they should have taken TJ Ford. I also remember him saying Josh McRoberts was gonna be a star and so on and so forth.

I think it's apparent that although Singler may be more talented, Jon Scheyer is the heart and soul of this team.
