Chris Paul starting at last.:banana:

I'd rate the matchups like this (based on this season only):

Chris Paul > Allen Iverson
Kobe Bryant = Dwyane Wade
Amare Stoudemire < LeBron James
Tim Duncan > Kevin Garnett
Yao Ming < Dwight Howard

most of the top pgs are in the west, so i can't be mad at AI for making it.

(in no specific order)...

cp3
deron
nash
parker
baron (for those who consider him a top pg)
chauncey

all in the west. in the east... lets just put it this way. while i respect rondo's work, no one asks if he's an all star if he plays out west.

Was Amare's rigged too? He all of a sudden overtook Carmelo. There was an All-Star article on NBA.com and in it was a link saying that Paul should be a starter and people can help by clicking on the link. The link took you to the online ballot voting. The smart people most likely went to the link and did the right thing. T-Whack only had 157K more votes than Paul. Some of you are acting as though he had a 2million vote over him. Calm the **** down and enjoy the All-Star game.

David Stern probably added votes for CP3 cause of T-Macs resting comments. Then he added to forwards in the West to overtake a injured Carmelo.

Wrong. Only time that is allowed is if it's the player's last year in the league & they've been a great player. The year before AI retires, then he deserves to be in the all star game, out of respect for all he's done. Same with Shaq, KG, Duncan, Dirk, etc. But unless thats the case, no one DESERVES to be in the all star game even if they aren't having the best year. No one. If your not the best, you don't deserve to be there.

We all know that the players well known by everybody will always get voted in regardless (eg. Kobe, AI), but Bruce frikkin Bowen? Are you kidding me? More popular than Dirk and Carmelo?????? And how did he jump so much in the last returns? Ron Artest is understandable considering he has China voting for him.

Something is really fishy regarding the bruce Bowen situation. Is this an Antoine Walker situation(remember from last year?) that was actually more successful?

Look at all the Spurs' players' votes, they made a huge push at the end. Duncan and Manu got around 1 million extra votes in those few weeks. By comparison, Yao's votes only went up several hundred thousand in those weeks - no one had as big of an increase at the end as the Spurs' players.

The only explanation I see is all those same Spurs fans who voted for Duncan/Manu etc voting him in as the second forward. Probably got some help from the French and Argentinians as well.

PS I'm shattered that Yi didn't make it

Tracy McGrady (Hou) 1,216,224; Chris Paul (NO) 1,059,161;

Last return:
Chris Paul (NO) 2,134,798; Tracy McGrady (Hou) 1,678,516;

Ok so, CP got more votes from his last return than he did in the FIRST FOUR? CP is no doubt the better of the two, but T-Mac didnt withdraw till the last day or so, they shouldn't have made it this obvious.

The last returns they allowed the public to view was on 1/8. Arena balloting ended on 1/9. The arenas most likely didn't even turn their ballots in until after 1/9. Good thing China doesn't get arena ballots or the entire Rocket roster would have been in the All-Star game. :oldlol:

It's just great how stupid avarage fans are, Bynum got so many votes just because he plays in L.A and every one is hyping him. Although he ain't that good (yet). Same with all the Rockets votes. No one's pissed at Paul making it, its just very suspicious how he got 1million votes in first 4 returns and magically gets 1million more to pass T-Mac in the last return, its obviously rigged. (Good thing they did)
But instead of just doing this stupid ****, why dont they just change the voting system, idiots, whats the point of counting votes if they end up rigging it anyways lol.
