I actually think the Rookie will win this. Rudy Fernandez owned some of the best players in the world in the olympics. He should tear these sophomore defenders apart. Brook Lopez and Oden on the same team. Derrick Rose will also be killing.

Because this is a legitimate NBA game

Kevin Durant is the best player on the court by a substantial margin, even as his team has lost the year he has been clutch while his teammates have suffered closing out games. With no one to guard him on the rookie Squad (looks like Rudy or Beasley will who are either undersized for guarding KD or just plain bad on the defensive end), he will run wild and destroy this Rookie Squad.

Are you retarded?

They are one of the youngest teams in the league with 3 players under 20 years old in the starting lineup. They have gone through a coaching change and have already exceeded expectations with 10 wins (I know sad).

Their record cannot be blamed on Kevin Durant if you actually shelled out the money and bought NBA TV and watched some games you would understand this. A majority of their games are close with them losing in the final quarter due to poor play by his teammates and other teams experience.

Even if I shelled out the money on NBA TV, i'd have to shell out some more money to get my bleeding eyes fixed after watching the thunder play. Youth is no excuse, see blazers average age is 23 in the starting lineup, the hawks are just as young.

I still say chalk up another loss for a durant led team.

Derrick Rose is 196 lbs
O.J. Mayo is 200lbs

and Yes

Eric Gordon who is faster than both of them and they are both pretty darn fast. Can Jump just as high as Rose 40 in vertical, not as high as Mayo though 41 in vertical. Is 222lbs already w/o NBA strength training. I think somebody on here called him the 6'2 version of LeBron James the way he is built, it is just explosive strength. He isn't ripped like LeBron though.

I said he sucked recently, not as an average from the season. Over the season Sessions averages 0.2 more points, 0.4 more steals and 1.6 more assists.

As I initally said over the last two months Brooks has thoroughly outplayed Sessions.

So as much as Sessions has been irrelevant in the voters minds recently, Brooks has had a number of good games for the Rockets and has played well overall recently.. mostly due to injuries causing opportunity.

so I can see why he is ahead of Sessions

If Rose, Beasley, Mayo can keep up the scoring with the Sophs it should be close.
Knowing the nature of these games, I think Mayo could easily be the high scorer, as he plays every game like the rookie game - which is shoot whenever you get it.
I wont be surprised if Mayo drops 35-40 points.

I said he sucked recently, not as an average from the season. Over the season Sessions averages 0.2 more points, 0.4 more steals and 1.6 more assists.Yep, better stats in fewer minutes (and the stats aren't a fluke - he's legitimately better at the skills that produce those stats).

And now that Sessions is getting more minutes, it's more clear than ever who is by far the better player.

Ramon Sessions five most recent games:

Jan 31 vs Hawks: 20 points (50%), 7 assists, 4 rebounds
Feb 3 vs Nets: 19 points (29%), 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 4 steals
Feb 7 vs Pistons: 44 points (72%), 12 assists, 5 rebounds
Feb 9 vs Rockets: 26 points (67%), 7 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 steals
Feb 11 vs Pacers: 15 points (50%), 17 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals
Average (5 games): 24.8 points, 9.8 assists, 4.6 rebounds

I don't think Aaron Brooks has five games in his career that out does that.

IMO this is the first year in ages that the rookies roster looks as strong as if not stronger than the sophmores

im expecting an "upset", the rookies have better big men and a great PG in rose, both things the sophs are missing, and as far a scoring goes gordon, fernandez and mayo are gonna fill it up, im putting my money on the rookies

This is by far the most entertaining at least on paper Rook vs Soph game in History. Just because we all want to see what the Best Draft Class since 03 will do. Only time will tell if this class will go down as a top 3 in NBA history.

I got the rookies winning it. Derrick Rose and OJ Mayo in the backcourt. Greg Oden in a game where no defence will play, will actually look like a #1 pick dunking the ball everyother time down.
