We can always win one every 20 years like the Celtics.
The Lakers can win games and go the Finals but will not win another NBA Championship while KG, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are still around. We'll still have more NBA titles than the Lakers have. We can still shut down the "great" Kobe Bryant. If the 90's Michael Jordan was on this current Lakers team, even he couldn't lead them to another NBA title. He'll get shut down too. That's how good the C's are on defense.

Maybe so but against a good defensive team, the Knicks that was a different era. That era didn't have the Zone rules. Now you have the Zone rules. So its not really laughable. I believe Jordan cannot beat the Zone.

I'm a fan of both teams. I'm a KG fan. And i'm still a Timberwolves fan. Even though KG is no longer with the Wolves I still support him. I didn't really understand the Lakers-Celtics rivalry until now. I hate the fact that the Lakers beat the Wolves in the 2004 WCF. But it was sweet revenge for me when KG and the Celtics beat the Lakers in last year's NBA Finals. And your Lakers will never win another NBA title again! Hey, how many points did you score for the Lakers in their last game? Who did you defend in crunch time? Oh yeah, you ROOT for the Lakers, you don't PLAY for them. You can't fault someone for cheering for a bad team. Do you want everyone to only root for the team with the best record? Wouldn't that be kind of boring? I obviously root for the Jazz, who have never won a championship...but I still LOVE to root for the Jazz.
