I admit she is highly overrated, but she wasn't even close to being "nasty" in Monster's Ball. There isn't a single male (unless you're homosexual) that didn't get a hard-on in the scene where Halle was getting smashed by Billy Bob.
In her prime Halle is a top 5 black actress of all-time, no debate.

I'd take her over Dash in her prime, Kerry is right there with a prime Halle to me.
Washington isn't very photogenic to me either, in movies she tends to be so much prettier. It's the body movement and her smile that really gets me.
