This morning on 1st and 10, he said something like "Stephen Curry will be the best player in this draft".

50 bucks he had a joint before the show.:oldlol:

Lil Wayne sucks ass in his own profession and no one takes him serious there, why the hell would anyone take him serious in this.

ESPN will do anything for ratings. It's getting sad.

Believe it or not, Weezy is actually pretty smart when it comes to sports. He knows his stuff. He was on first and 10 a while back and he was schooling them from basketball to football. He watches sports all day. He def could hold his own. I forgot though, it's the cool thing to do to hate on Wayne.

I was surpised just how short Lil Wayne is. He was standing next to Skip Bayless, Dana Jacobson, and even that midget Michael Kim at the end of the show.. and they all towered over him. LOL the guy must be like 5'4"..

Or like listening to Skip Bayless talk about sports. Who cares who they have as guest stars when that douche is on every day. ESPN is trash.

I'm a 50 year old white dude, so I'm not much into "Lil Wayne" :oldlol: , but he does make more sense than Skip Bayless. I think he's been pretty decent when I've seen him before too.

Hard to believe my ears, but I think I heard Skip say this morning that the Hornets were going to win the western conference playoffs

I'm by no means a Lil Wayne fan but he did an excellent job. Wayne didn't stumbled all over his words like Magic Johnson or Emmitt Smith, nor did he makes points without backing them up with logical reasoning.

That's not a horrible thing to say. Stephen is definitely very talented. I'd be worried if he said that about a guy like... Dominic James.

I love Stephon Curry as a player. The guy is as smooth as silk. As far as Skip Bayless goes, he is the biggest idiot on ESPN and that is saying a lot. He claims to be an OU fan and then rips them every chance he gets. His show is amateur hour anyway.

How many times have you been quoted by a major sports news source? KO>>>>>you

Curry is the best guard in the NCAA, so it's not ridiculous to think he could excel in the pros. Unfortunately it's rather easy to draw up similarities between him and JJ Redick. Like a lot of people, my money would be on Blake Griffin, and Ty Lawson looks like he has more NBA tools. But Curry puts the ball in the hole, maybe he can learn the pg position (which no one has tried to do with Redick) and make it big in the NBA, it's not impossible.

They kind of made a comparison that I liked, Devin Harris.

I think Curry could be a star someday but if he's the best player in the draft, he'd be drafted higher than mid-first.

I haven't seen a ton of Stephon Curry, but I'm pretty sure his speed is nowhere near Harris' speed while his shot is much better. He's not a real point yet, although Davidson (I think that's his school) moved him to the pg so that could help make him into one for the NBA. But right now, he's more of an Eric Gordon/Ben Gordon type, though not as athletic.
