No it's not. Marlo and Bean clicked on an 80s flashback, and he's weeding out the youngsters that are going to give props to the Illmatics and the 2Pacalypse's Now. It is a strategic move. Get with the deal and post some f*cking Springstein or Marvin Gaye, little boy.

while I agree that he is underrated, Jorma still releases well-received albums, sells out concert halls and runs his own guitar camp, so its not like hes been completely forgotten.

I was referring more to the Airplane as being forgotten as opposed to Jorma (although he still doesn't get the attention that he deserves). While other 60s acts are still celebrated today (Joplin, Grateful Dead, Santana, CSN, The Who, etc), the Airplane doesn't have that kind of recognition anymore... And they were probably the most popular band in San Francisco during the Summer of Love.

There is not a riff in the genre better to jump and bang your head at a concert too. The original metal before all the silly makeup, trench coats, etc. Doom/stoner metal keeping it real to this day.

Wow, that had to be when TMOGE and I were talking last summer. That is an epic song. Sludge metal at its finest. Soooooo heavy.

This band was sick before they broke up. Props to the bands who keep it oldschool. Love the bandanas in these vids. Look nasty. Funny Finish accent makes it sound even more doom'ish.

The riff in this should be used in an actual song cause it's epic.

He is MIA. I sent him several PMs and got no response. I don't know if someone said something to p!ss him off or what, but he seems like he has opted out.

Yeah... OTC has been kind of lame the last couple of weeks. I'm doing my best to stir up interesting conversation, but I need help. It gets like this when the playoffs really start heating up.

Strange... even though my Cavs are in the ECF, I still spend very little time in the main forum. That may change this week. There hasn't been a whole lot to talk about during our first two series.
