used to be main board. now I go there a couple times a day. Too much ranking, stan BS to go through. Plus all the retarded PleezeBelieve me, Puhleeze! threads. Too much **** in the main forum now. USed to be able to find some great insight from cats like thorp, adamcz, etc. now it seems to be a bunch of 12 yr olds who think bball =dunks and that a 5 on 5 game is somehow a one man sport.

Even I'm in here more than the main board now.

On the few occasions something interesting pops up on the main board it's either flooded. Usually with stupidity, or even if not, once you get past four or five pages, all that can be said has pretty much been said. Or, it gets so little attention it falls back too far to find in an hour or so.

I'd say it's 70/30 or 75/25 in favor of OTC. There are way more trolls in the NBA section. At least here, some of the trolls are funny. There's nothing funny about the trolls that ride LeBron's, Kobe's, or Wade's nuts.

problem with the nba forum is that when somebody makes a decent thread it dosent get enough attention and sinks fast, becasue its not about kobe>>>>>>>>bron or watever. their are very few objective fans who can see the game without bias or espn influence. theres still some good posters there though who now their stuff

I can only take so much of the main forum. I still post there occasionally, but the main reason I come to this site these days is for the OTC. There is an interesting blend of people on this side of the forum. You can pretty much find a thread on any topic.

With the exception of a small percentage of posters, quality on the Main Forum has gone down quite a bit over the years. I get sick of LeBron jockers calling out Kobe/Wade, Kobe jockers calling out LeBron/Wade, and Wade jockers calling out LeBron/Kobe. It gets tiresome.

My ISH time is way down, but when it's here it's to read or talk ball, so probably 70% main forum, 10% Nets forum, 10% draft forum, 10% OTC. I guess I feel if I wanted to socialize, I'd do it outside the internet.

I you spned most of your time in the main forum I think that means you are either new to ISH, or very young, or your name is kblaze...

I think the first 6-8 months I was here it was 100% main forum...

then after listing the top 5 point guards for the 246th time and I found this section that % went down drastically...

I think I have ranked every player in the NBA 20 times...

the off-season that we made the top ISH 100 all time list was about the time I just stoped all together...

now the only time I go to the main forum is special occations...like last night I started a thread to let Nugs fans understand they are going to lose...

and I spent a little time in there talking about Blake Griffen...

Outside of the Cavs (and maybe a few of their chief rivals), I don't have a lot of other NBA opinions at the moment. Almost all of my NBA posts are Cavs-related.

I just prefer the crowd in here. Some people in the NBA forum don't seem to realize that while people love basketball, not everyone has the time to watch every single game that's being played. You could go into a certain thread and say you like such-and-such player, and 5 min. later, someone will call you an idiot, and point out something random about that guy that they think is common knowledge.
