But as far as Kmart walkin away. Cuban seat is not far from where Denver players was exiting. That is when Kmart was going to confront Cuban. But Cuban got up and started walkin the opposite way smacking fans hands. Kmart saw this as he was getting close and thats where the video picks up. As a person with no dog in this fight, it looks like there may be plenty of blame/responsibility to spread around here. I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that it started with little things and esclated on both sides until it got out of control. I would also venture to guess that at least some of the parties involved had comsumed some alcohol.

In a perfect world, K-Mart's mom shouldn't be fearful of being harrassed or attacked, especially if she is not acting a fool or running her mouth. On the other hand, if she decides to talk sh!t in the Mav's arena, she has given up at least some of the expectation that she should be given any special consideration. If you abuse the special consideration that should be given to a player's mother/family by mouthing mouth off, you shouldn't expect to be able to do so with total impunity.

At the same time, just because someone has bought a ticket to a sporting event, it doesn't give them the right to lose their mind, make racist or other derogatory comments and throw things at others and make them actually fear for their physical well being. The fact that it happens and is somewhat tolerated in no way implies that it's right.

Add in Mark Cuban's childish antics along with the debacle that unfolded at the end of game 3 and you have a recipe for disaster. Cuban waiting as long as he did to address the situation made it even worse than it should have been. If the guy is going to be that emotionally invested in what happens, it might not be a great idea to have him as the owner.

I understand him being pissed, but I think I would have let out my anger in a different way like walking into the post game press conference and writing out a check for $500,000 and telling the NBA to let him know when that has been used up and then writing out another check.

Now, you have K-Mart being accused of being a "thug". Of course, in the literal sense of the word, he is no such thing. But in the context of the NBA, I can see how he is thought of that way and he does himself no favors by the behavior he has exhibited since this happened although I can understand him being upset that his mother was directly confronted by Cuban.

Martin has made his living by his tough guy reputation as much as his mediocre skills. He calls out Cuban the way he does, but he isn't a "thug"? Either he is or he isn't, but he can't have it both ways.

Never the less, in my opinion, Cuban should step up huge and be the bigger person here and at least give K-Mart the opportunity to do the same and still retain his dignity. We all make mistakes, but it is in how you attempt to recover from those mistakes that you are usually judged. As a team owner, it is in his best interest to be the guy to set thiis thing right. Then, it will be up to K-Mart to either act in kind and diffuse the situation or :confusedshrug: do as he has implied with his calling out of Cuban and get physical with him. If K-Mart is not a "thug", he will do the right thing by accepting a sincere apology and de-escalate the situation and get back to the business of playing basketball without the sideshow.

If the series returns to Dallas, they should at a minimum, have extra security around them or better yet put the ladies up in a suite with security. They can yell and scream all they want with no fear of being threatened.

You can't unring the bell, but you can try to step up and do the right thing from here on out.

As for us, it's a good time to rise above some of the ignorant comments on display here. They stand on their own to show the IQ of those that post them and some are outright stupid childish trolls. Either way, they don't deserve to be dignified by responding to them.

2. Kmart was walkin the same way Denver coaches, staff, players and security was escorting them to go which is NEAR Cubans seat. I saw the ending of the game where Kmart spout off (couldnt make out his words) and for him to stop where everyone was going? He would have been stopped. No one was clueless to Kmarts intentions, they were around to deny him doing something stupid like running across the court to confront Cuban.

3. I'm not sure if there is video, i didnt check youtube. I saw the game and how it ended. Cuban got up and walked to the opposite side and started high fiving fans. Thats why Kmart is lookin across court the whole time after the game and mentioned "You better walk over there" and at the end it flashes to Cuban shrugging his threat off and continuing to high 5 fans. I laughed when Cuban got at (when the end of the game took place) because I figured he didnt want to be confronted by Kmart. And alas he didnt.

Regardless of whether or not Cuban was right about Martin is irrelevant. What is relevant is that Cuban never should have said what he said to Martin's mother for a multitude of reasons.

And I'm shocked you would say that Cuban could just have Martin taken care of. That right there is implying Cuban is a thug, a coward and feels he is above the law and better than others because he has money. Both Martin and Cuban have more money than we will ever see, but that doesn't exempt them from proper conduct in society, or the repercussions of breaking those rules of conduct.

Besides, I'm sure Martin has plenty of money and knows plenty of people to make sure Cuban doesn't run his mouth again as well. Difference is Martin doesn't have to or want to go that route. He's man enough to defend him and his mother himself (as he has shown), and he did not start this situation.
