Yeah, it's basketball though at the end of the day. I hate to lose focus from what's going on, on the court, in exchange for first half foul calls. By the way StroShow, lol @ the people posting in this thread (not you), you can see the agendas all over the place tonight. I'm just sitting back and laughing.

I find it rather humorous that we have so many Lakers fans in here complaining about the calls Cleveland is getting. Gee, I wonder what that's all about? :oldlol:

Go Magic. I am tuning in to the Game right now, but by looking at these posts, it seems like the Cleveland Refs are putting on their usual bias officiating. If it turns out to be like this all Game, then I won't even watch it. I am tired of it.

The lakers dont get any calls as the cavs do...but the nuggets do...maybe the cavs and nuggets are meant to be...foul festived playoff...100FT per game.

Yeah, I don't think Dwight deserved the first foul at all. He barely touched anyone, but Wallace flopped and he's a Cav, so I guess it was a foul. That's all we need, too, is another championship team that's going to be accused of being chosen by ESPN, Nike, and Stern even though they're good enough to win on their own.

BTrujillo

Those who are making fun of Laker fans for saying the refs are making bad calls have yet to actually defend one of the calls that everyone else on here is saying is a bad call... even besides the bad calls... big ups to Cavs for playing their hearts out... Hedo and Lewis haven't played well and still can make this a single digit deficit by halftime... should be a good 2nd half if they can cut into this lead

Why? For the regular season only? He's providing nothing thus far. Its the ECF. Of course its 7gms but when you make that much money? You gotta earn it. Not like they have great defenders on him. Not even doubling him. He simple cant create his own offense, take a guy off the dribble.

I think that he'd have to completely rebuild his jump shot. I've watched footage of him shooting jumpers in pre-draft workouts and his form is basically the same as it is on his free throws. Yao might alter more shots, but I'd rather have Yao for his ability to switch off on the pick and roll.
I think you meant Dwight, anyways Yao is better than Dwight. My point is Dwight is actually being treated the way Yao is by the officials. Call me biased, but most rocket fans will also tell you this.

you ever here about the butterfly effect. If those calls were made correctly then there is prob no ending shot. They maybe dont have the same momentum and the game could turn out totally different. They are changing the entire way the game is being played. Its easy to get hot and make tons of open shots when EVERYTHING is going you way including calls.

Orlando's shooting a better percentage from the field than Cleveland. What's killing them is the 8 turnovers. Cleveland has 0.

The times they did that earlier they were playing him tight with Howard coming over and slightly doubling him. Then a steaking Varejao would get a easy lay because of LeBron's passing ability.

They're letting him have space because no one on the Magic can guard him up close when Howard is off the court.

The Magic need to start playing real Defense. Why in the hell are they letting Lebron get whatever shot he wants. You might as well just hand him the points. Double his ass. Anything is better than letting Lebron literally do whatever he wants.

The also need to give the ball down to Dwight. Dwight and Lewis are better than Big Z and whoever he gots with him. Turk and Lewis need to step up more too. I think they only have like 5 Field Goal Attempts between both of them. Not good, not good at all.

Anyway, so far the Game is good. Mo William's shot just left me naturally stunned. Damn those Cavs. I guess they are winning the Championship this year. Oh well, Lebron still needs to win 5 more Rings to even come close to GOAT.

Those are easy shots Lebron is making.. I can make those shots.. Lebron is looking great because they are not doubling and giving him all the room in the world and all the time in the world.. That is dumb... Lebron is great but the way they are defending him is making him looking ridiculous.. I would go with the way LA defends Lebron.. Putting a fast big player in front of lebron and a tall player waiting for him.. Boston, LAKERS, AND hOUSTON did this very well... Sometimes I don't understand why teams don't look at what works for other teams and try the same thing..

Nobody can defend LeBron 1 on 1, when you over-commit your defense, leaving other players on the Cavs open, LeBron flashes his court vision and passing ability by hitting the open man ANYWHERE on the court. How many cross court passes for assists did he have this season? I'd say about 2 per game. The guys court vision is so great that you would be a moron of a coach to run double teams at such a great passer. He keeps the defense "honest".

Handchecking is called on the perimeter, you get away with more in the post and paint. That's the way the rules lead refs to call it anyways.

You saw Jordan play too??? No way!?! Well then, your opinion is completely validated then.
Here's the difference Einstein, I live in Chicago and watched all of the Bulls games, recorded and watched games when I had practice or something to do, if you didn't live in Chicago, and weren't an avid watcher of Bulls games, you didn't see his career. Oh maybe you saw some national games, use some thought and logic.

People are crowning the Cavs too early.

Lebron is not going to be this hot all series. Refs hopefully won't f*ck Howard all series. Mo Williams will not hit 70 footers. No answer for Dwight.

Magic have been pretty impressive. Some bad defense in the first half but making good adjustments now.

He's not a 1 man team, he does carry them a lot but the Cavs need to step up their own individual roles if they want to win this game.

Cavs D was great in the 1st quarter, been a lot less dominant since then though. We can't be giving up 30 point quarters and 53%FG, won't beat the Lakers that way.

Thank You. They have no defensive answer for Orlando. Never have. Just look up their previous meetings.

Okay, I admit that I do have a social life instead of memorizing homemade MJ tapes, but I think I've watched MJ enough to get a pretty good idea of how he affected a game (If Lebron keeps hitting J's at this rate for this rest of the post season, he will be scarily close).

This isn't a Cavs vs Lakers match-up thread and I'm sick of reading about this crap. Talk about the damn game or GTFO!

really...he is holding the ball and dribbling for almost 10 seconds at a time. They are prob confused as to what is susposed to happen

LeBron will have to continue playing a flawless game. Cleveland sure as hell isn't stopping Orlando and LeBron's cast is playing even worse offensively than they did in the first 2 rounds.

He ain't superman.

Lebron with a midrange jumper is a scary thought. Might need rule changes to stop him.

That's the dumbest logic.

You can also say that Mo won't be this off also, the Cavs won't depend on LeBron this much, thus he may get more involved as the PG.

Yea Orlando will hit more jumpers, and get hotter, but then Dwight won't be beasting like he is tonight.

It's goes both ways when you use that logic.

I think it's a combination of poor defensive rotations and hot shooting tonight. The beginning of the 2nd quarter showed both teams shooting very well.

Z is guarding Dwight the way Vlade used to guard Shaq. Lots of little shoves, hand checks, face guarding, and what have you.
Except Shaq would have had like 100 points by now with no doubles like that. :oldlol:

He's not a 1 man team, he does carry them a lot but the Cavs need to step up their own individual roles if they want to win this game.

That is the point. The Cavaliers are starting to depend too much on Lebron and is not stepping up themselves. Lebron is hot, but he will eventually slow down. This does not go well if the rest of the team doesn't show up. I guarantee that it will show in the NBA finals if the Cavaliers make it that is.
