How did Bigshow shrink from 7'5" to 7'0"?

Back in the old days Big Show(Then The Giant) in WCW used to be a 7'5" monster, but now he's a mere 7'0" and barely looks a few inches taller than people he used to TOWER over. I mean was it back surgery, age or what?
The other thing is how can Big Show and Kane both be 7 footers when Big Show is like 4 inches taller than Kane?

If that's the truth then Shaq must be 7'1" 285lbs.
If the WWE LIES, then that must mean that Shaq is really 6'8" 225lbs.

He's not "towering" over Kevin Nash in the first pic... (and that's not Nash in front of him incase you didn't know. Nash is to his left (our right)).

And in the 3rd pic with Kane I'm pretty sure Show is closer to the camera. Anyway athletes are "billed" as a certain weight or height. Like B-Low said it probably had to do with storylines. A lot of athletes aren't the size they're billed at. For example Jeff Hardy:

He's billed at 6"1 225. In reality it's very likely he's not. He's not ripped out of his mind. He has a body of an average man. Can't be anymore than 6"0 or 6"1, 200 or so. The Rock was billed at 260 when in reality sources say he's about 225. (Though I would probably say he's more 230-240..)

Wrestling listings are notoriously inflated. Andre The Giant was billed at 7'5" at one point, but when he was unknown he was billed at 6'10". Not to mention that when he was actually measured in the early 70's, he measured 6'9 3/4". Khali gets billed at 7'3", 7'4" sometimes but looking at him beside 7'1" Shaq, he's no taller than Shaq.

Show legit was no more than 7'1", which is what he claimed on Leno some years back. He did lose a bit of height as pro wrestlers are getting slammed around and almost always have spine problems. He's probably 6'11" ish today.

He was 7'5? The tallest I heard him ever announced at was 7'2. Well, they do put padding in some of the wrestler's boots to make them taller. Kane's actually 6'9, if I heard right, but they put fillers and stuff in his boots to make him 7 feet.

That Shaq and Khali pic IS A FAKE Khali has the legs of a female basketball player in that photo. Dalip Singh was a pro Bodybuilder, he'd never have scrawny legs like that.

I took a photo of Dalip Singh as a teenager with current Shaq and made them the same height in photoshop. You can see that Dalip Singh even as a kid had treetrunk legs and that pic of Shaq with Khali is OBVIOUSLY a FORGERY.

The other thing is, that Dalip Singh's arms are 30" in circumference.
There's no what that pic can be real. Even Mark Henry makes Shaq look weak, and Dalip Singh actually has way more upperbody strength than Mark Henry. Henry can do more in the clean and jerk than Singh, but Singh can curl, shoulder press, bench press, etc a lot more than Henry even as in his prime as an Olympic Champion.
