What brands do you find you like or most often end up buying, both casual and dressy? Even if you dont necessarily look for them when you shop, but it seems like often times when you see somethin you like it turns out to be that specific brand.
For casual clothes its polo, i hate shirts that look designer and have like a silhoutte of a lion or a dragon or some stupid drawing on the side or on one shoulder, or any shirt with a number on it which is the corniest trend possibly ever. polo just makes normal loose-fitting shirts with either a solid color or simple stripes.
for dress clothes its DKNY. i buy a lot of dress clothes and frankly DKNY is just on point. they are a really good label.

I usually try not to wear shirts. If I can mix in a white head band, I most definitely will, even though I am usually not sweating profusely to the point I actually need one. Next comes the colorful basketball shorts pulled low enough that everyone can see the jockies my mother bought me. Good stuff right there. Top class style.

I hate any kind of logo, so I wear a lot of button down shirts and blazers (especially when trying to mack at hispanic girls; a white dude in a blazer is the cat's pajamas for the ones near where I live). I like Brooks Brothers and H&M a lot, and I buy a lot of stuff at Banana Republic, Armani, and The Gap. I usually just wear sort of dressy shoes (I've got like five pairs of black and brown ones, although I can't name a single designer off the top of my head), but I've been trying to branch out into Chucks and sneakers. I've got some Nike running shoes and a pair of Gil Zero's, and I'm probably going to buy some old school Jordans and Pennys once I start getting a regular paycheck again. Oh, and I wear flip flops any time I'm just going to the mall or to a friend's place, since I hate wearing regular shoes. I wear Dickeys shirts, too, which I usually just get at Wal Mart.

next you start a bunch of threads begging for people to give you dap for your film expertise. when everyone tells you they have no respect for your film knowledge, you proceed to post your top 30 favorite actors and include Jake Gyllenhaal over Johnny Depp and Anthony Hopkins. Then you bash James Cameron and have like 20 people telling you what a disgrace you are, and then try to change the subject to save face.
then you make a thread calling the worlds lousiest sandwhich, one that contains neither mean nor cheese, the worlds best sandwhich, proving that you in fact have no testicles, and are equal parts lame and unmanly.

I know this isn't a popular choice over in the states but it is still a rare brand over here in the U.K. Usually wear one of those t-shirts with some blue jeans and some timberlands.

Everyone tells me all my clothes look the same and when I wear a shirt I haven't even put on in over 6 months and someone says "hey, I like that shirt, I remember I had told ______ it looked good on you last week?" ... and then I get the "nice shirt, I like that color on you... did you pick out this one or your girlfriend?" ... well first of ****ing all, my girlfriend (well, ex girlfriend) never picked out any of my clothes, secondly, she hated my clothes, and everytime I'd buy a new shirt she'd say you already have that one.

I have dress shirts and sweaters from places like Mexx, RW & Co and Banana Rep. I don't really go shopping. If I'm in a mall and see something, I'll buy it.
My casual clothes come from everywhere. Up north a surfer shop. Random shop back home. Doesn't matter. In Las Vegas, find things that don't exist back home. No rhyme or reason.
I couldn't tell you the brand name of most of my clothes honestly.

fashion itself is never unmanly. just certain types of it are. i always respect people with good taste.
dressing like a nerd is never in style, which i believe you proudly referred to as "geek-sheek" (and didnt even know how to spell chic). falls into the total disgrace category. in other words, it suits you.
You are such a homo it isn't even funny. Why would you care "who" other men wear? You go into other threads and bash people for thier taste in entertainment (comics) and etiquette (making samiches) yet you sit there and create this garbage a$$ thread? DKNY is on point? Are you one of them b*tches from Sex in the City? Then, above all things, you start tossing out Queer Guy terminology. "Geek-Sheek"? George Clinton is rolling over in his grave.

not saying fashion can't be manly, just pointing out you asked "who do you wear?" as if to imply some knowledge or interest in fashion designers. I thought there was going to be some Devil Wears Prada dialouge. You cited all department store brands though. Takes a real fashionista to pick out sh*t at JC Penny.
I think the "geek chic" (thanks for spelling correction) thing was about my glasses, somone had called Phil Jackson's glasses that and mine look a bit like his.

ive spent so much $ on clothes over the years and most of it i regret...some versace shirts for dress. ralph lauren polos (idk why i kept buying them because i dont like the fit). im a big fan of casual stuff though i dont like looking over-dressed for anything, so i wear a lot of sean john, lrg, jordans for sneakers, flip flops. living in florida my most-weared outfit is shorts, flip flops, and a sean john tshirt

I usually look for Polo ralph lauren, timberland, nautica, and sometimes i'll wear aeropostale or american eagle, but now I'm at the point where name brands arn't too important to me even though I have a good amount of them. I go to kohls a lot now or Marshals because I can get a lot of clothes for my money. It's not like a girl isn't going to think your not cool or attractive because your wearing a non-namebrand shirt or jeans. Think about it, if you saw a hot ass girl but knew she was wearing a walmart shirt or clothes from good will, would that change the fact that she's hot or that you would stick it to her? I don't think so

Wrangler jeans, Levis, any nice fitting jeans for every day. Any t-shirt I can find or a long sleeve button up with a hat. Always a hat, but never the gay New Era, that stuff ain't for me.
On nice occasions I wear some nice jeans with style and a button up. Gotta have the button up.

I dont buy name brand crap, pay high prices to advertise for some company? I think not. I usually wear lame t-shirts, like ones that say "Please make your boobs stop staring at my eyes" or "I'd **** me". Chicks usually dig those way more than some Holister or Abercrombie crap :lol Then jeans and either mandals or old school Vans. I dont go to clubs or anywhere I need to dress up so thats what I wear 99% of the time.

For casual wear:
-Wrangler jeans - $10 or so at walmart or target
-c.e. schmidt t-shirts ($9.99 a piece and I like the way they fit)
-Socks: Wigwam merino wool socks, of various weight and length depending on temp., footwear, etc.
For warm weather outdoor activities (I do a lot of hiking, trekking, camping, etc) it's mostly "ExOfficio" brand stuff for shirts and pants. I love their "convertible pants". I also like their breathable synthetic material long sleeve shirts.
My underwear are all ExOfficio boxer briefs, and a few pairs of Patagonia's capilene 2 boxer briefs.
In winter, if outdoors, I use a base layer of merino wool long-johns (tops and bottoms) made by Minus33. If hiking I wear REI's "mistral" soft-shell pants over the long-johns., along w/ some trail gaiters.
If just hanging out I'd generally have on the Wranglers.
Of course for work it's an entirely different story...:rant

The majority of my pants are from the Gap. They're basic, can be worn casual or dressed up, I think they're called "lived in" chinos or khakis. I get a lot of button-ups from urban outfitters and brooklyn industries, I realize those are stores and not specific labels but I don't know what they call their little sub-brands. T-shirts anywhere from Hanes plain white to NBA jersey style-t-shirts to funky weird ones I find online. Jockey brand boxer briefs, I like the longer legged ones (my scrote is mad saggy, yo). Socks are either puma or stance. My favorite sneakers right now are Puma XT. My current favorite dress shoes I wear are by Penguin but I get hard bottoms from all over. My glasses are from claiborne. Do I wear anything else? I have a little hair-tie rubber band on my wrist that some poor chinese kid made. F*ck him. I don't wear jewelry or condoms but if I did it'd be blood diamonds and durex.
