Pick the total number of points scored in the NBA finals this year.

example- if you think the Magic are going to beat the Lakers 101-99 in four straight games, your answer would be 800 (101+99 x 4). Total points of BOTH teams for EVERY game played. Closest to that number wins. If two players are equidistant to the total, I will simply pick the poster I like better to recieve the prize.


You cannot guess the same number as someone else. Anyone with a duplicate number will not be counted

Maybe it's just wishful thinking to predict LA playing consistently well for four out of five games, but I'll be optimistic anyways. I'm doubting a sweep and I'd probably be more comfortable picking LA in six if this prediction meant anything besides calming my nerves before the series.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see LA come out sloppy on offense and unprepared on defense. Bynum will probably be taken out of a number of games trying to defend the Dwight/Hedo pick and roll. We're terrible against the three, almost as a rule. Orlando will have plenty of chances to exploit if you ask me.

I'm really just hoping for consistency though, LA's been way too up and down in this playoffs to imagine them taking the crown - and yet here we are.

1100-584 = 516. assuming it goes 6 games which is the closest for you: 516/3 = 172(both teams per game) / 2 = 86 per team per game. So to get your score both teams will need to average 86 per game for the next 3 games which is possible but unlikely. I think the best guesses assuming 6 game series are around mid to late 1100's and for a game 7 it would be like early 1300's so basically anyone in the 1200's are screwed barring some higher scoring overtime games.

I'd just need some high scoring games, because at 2-2, there's going to be 6 games.
