One of the greatest Zombie Films of all time, and a very decent remake.

This movie was filled with unintentional humor. The zombie daughter who looked like Prince, the dumb redneck who fired a rifle directly at a lock in an attempt to use the GAS PUMP, lol.

in my opinion the best part of zombie movies is the unintentional humor

This is my favorite horror movie of all time. I own both the original black and white version and the 1990 colored version. Without a doubt the best zombie movie ever. This thread gets 5 stars.

Original Dawn of the Dead the the best ever. ^^^Tony Todd died overnight in the cellar from of a gunshot wound.

I think the original has a better ending. It was much more powerful and thought provoking.

The remake just gives a douche bag his comeuppance.

I prefer slow mindless zombies over the more recent Dawn of the Dead where they had superhuman speed

I own both and like both for obvious reasons but I do prefer the 1990 remake myself. It was more than solid.

Also happen to like the Return of the Living Dead movies as well even though they are a bit more comedic than Night of the Living Dead

I love Day of the Dead. Great flick. Mainly because of how the zombies overrun the soldiers in the end. And the Zombie named Bob (or at least I think his name was Bob). I even liked the remake with Nick Canon. Even though the ending was kinda dumb.

One of the funniest scense in a zombie movie, in my opinion, ccurred in Return of the Living Dead. The survivors were cruising around the city in an ambulance van. Someone gets on the radio asking for help. And a zombie (these zombies can talk) tells them to come to the hospital. They get all excited thinking they had found help. Then one of them thinks about it and ask who the current president is and the zombie thought for a second and responded Harry Truman. Mind you the movie came out in 88 or 89.

I remember that scene from Return of the Living Dead 2.
