For the record -- you won't see Kobe Bryant wearing a shirt with his individual accomplishments plastered on the front of it during his championship parade today -- he's gonna let the trophy do the talking.

Lebron is straight clowning...

I can't say that I didn't expect this though. Ever since HS, everybody has been on the guys nuts. Even know, it's almost like he runs the Cavs himself lol. All that ass kissing is bound to swell up your head a bit. For the sake of his legacy, I think he should tone it down a bit....

Still, an amazing player.

Kobe Bryant just made us eat a fat spoonful of our own words -- after we were dumb enough to throw the following line in our LeBron James post this morning:

"For the record -- you won't see Kobe Bryant wearing a shirt with his individual accomplishments plastered on the front of it during his championship parade today -- he's gonna let the trophy do the talking."

He is at his CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE/CELEBRATION. I would be OK with LBJ wearing that shirt on the day he accepted his MVP trophy.

Nike made it for him. He is sponsored by Nike.

What he is wearing is the same thing as wearing those 2009 Champions shirts that his teammates are sporting.

Big difference between Kobe and LeBron's t-shirts, especially since LeBron goes hoarse talking about how he's a "team guy" :oldlol: FYI, Fish was also wearing the same t-shirt as Kobe because both of them won 4 rings together...maybe if Kobe won a t-shirt that said "Kobe-Finals MVP", you'd have an argument.

Actually LBJ kind of screwed us over in terms of Vietnam and starting the precedent of budget deficits that would be impossible to balance. If it weren't for the civil rights actions, LBJ would be undeniably our worst president ever. People talk a lot about how bad Bush was because of unnecessary wars and the budget, but LBJ was doing those things on far greater scale.

Kobe's shirt is playful, humorous, appropriate (for the parade) and also honors a team achievement (note Fisher is wearing it too).

Lebron's is shamelessly arrogant. You'd think after not even making the finals while winning 66 games, he'd stop reminding everyone he won MVP, brings the value of the award down. What type of an athlete goes around walking or shopping in "ME=MVP" type of shirts?

Just to clarify, it isn't as though LeBron created this t-shirt... It came out in Cleveland just before he won the award and you could find it on just about every street corner. This is not some unique shirt that LeBron created.

Yes.... He is cocky as f#ck. He always has been very cocky, dating back to his days in high school. But, I think that every great player is equally as arrogant. You don't get that good without thinking you are the sh!t. LeBron is a little more overt in his cockiness, whereas others try to act humble when, in reality, they are as arrogant as all of the other superstars.

There is a difference between being a great player and knowing you are a great player and being a d!ck. I'm talking about arrogance about his game... He is surely that. At the same time, he has shown a pretty incredible work ethic, as evidenced by his constant improvement and the fact that he is usually the first one at practice and the last one to leave (according to reports). So, while he knows he is great, he is clearly working as hard as he can to get better.

What you are describing is LeBron being a nice guy... You can be a great guy and still be arrogant. Take Obama, for example... He seems like the nicest guy in the world and I'm sure he is, but it takes a certain level of arrogance to truly believe that you can run the most powerful country in the world.

There is a difference between arrogance and d!ckishness.

Who cares? I swear ISH is composed of females. Who the hell didn't know LBJ is cocky? You've been in denial the last 4-5 years. Is it really an issue though? Doesn't take away how great a player the man is, and I'm happy as hell for the sake of the quality of ball he plays he views himself above everyone else, and not just 'one of the guys.' That demeaner is what makes great players great, and it amazes me people can seem ass sore when they 'realize' a great player is cocky. He's not the first cocky superstar and won't be the last.

You guys are such retards... How can you be upset about a shirt?

If I won the MVP, I'd wear the shirt around once and a while. Why the hell not? It's funny. I think it shows LeBron has a sense of humor, walking around with his own shirt on.

He was probably just running out to go somewhere and popped on that shirt (since he probably has a bunch).

Kobe's shirt though, that's just a gay design. Bad choice, it looks like ass... But I don't give a crap if he wears it.

There is a difference between arrogance and d!ckishness.oh yea i agree wit u on that. i think all players are very cocky bout their game though.

I'm going to assume you also have no idea what paying homage means. Way to go.

LeBron is by far the most arrogant player ever in the NBA. Even if that t-shirt alone isn't a big deal, couple it with the "CHOSEN 1" tatoo on his back, "witness" tatoo on his calf, his proclaimed ultimate goal to become a billionaire, purporting to have lead Kobe Bryant at the Olympics, and you get the most arrogant NBA star in the league.

He has a lot of competition for that title... Including Wilt who, before he died, proclaimed that he would average 50 ppg in today's league (which is pretty much impossible). This is the same man that made the statement that he had slept with over 10,000 women, a feat even more impossible than averaging 50 ppg in today's NBA.

Like I pointed out earlier... Every great player is arrogant. LeBron is a bit more overt in his cockiness, but you can't become a great player without thinking that you are the sh!t.

Wilt is the only one who competes, you're right.

there's a huge difference between thinking you are the best and letting everyone know that you think you're the best. Shaq at least was funny doing it.

Calling yourself King James, Chosen 1 and regarding everyone else as a "witness" is more than a bit over the top, no?

I know Kobe h@ters will never admit it, but Bron is every bit as bad if not worse than Kobe in the cockiness, arrogance and self-entitlement department.
