I acknowledge accolades and awards but I don't use those as evidence that he is the best. T-Pain get's all kind of awards.....anybody get's awards when they are being talked about and constantly putting music out. His buzz has been strong for a while....I would expect him to clean up at award shows...I really would.

Its hard to say greatest rapper alive and its a really controversial topic because alot of people have different criteria. If you wanna say greatest mainstream rapper alive, I will say Jay-Z. You wanna say greatest lyrical rapper alive, I will say Mos Def. ranking rappers 1-10 is impossible, it really is and there's always somebody who disagrees, its like ranking top 10 nba players of all time, nobody knows who 2, 3, 4, 5 etc... is but we all know kareem is arguably in there somewhere. we don't know exactly where but you would be retarded if you bash somebody for putting kareem top 10 all time, because its a legitimate statement as opposed to putting Jermaine O'neal top 10 all time. Kareem is a legitimate answer.

I listen to all his albums, and Ive enjoyed him and consider him one of the best to do it and I can't deny his lyrical talent. I like em but he is not in my top favorites just because he doesn't do that to me. but when somebody ranks him top 5 all time, its a legitimate hip hop statement considering what he has accomplished. im not going to bash whoever made the statement because its arguable.
