Well with the sleeves its just superstition for some players, if they start shooting bad they up on a sleeve, if it helps than they keep it on, etc. I think Ray Allen switches a lot when it comes to the sleeves.

Their cool. No other reason. I think that tall socks are more comfortable than ankle socks though.

The reason I ask is cause I hear all types of reasoning for the shooting sleeve.

I wondered if people wore them to 'keep warm' or anything, or whether it was just personal pref.

Rambis (if we count his Clark Kent shades)

KAJ has the tallest socks out of all the players I mentioned, but they were never knee hi as far as I remember... Michael cooper wore knee soc, but I do not ever remember his wearing goggles.

I wear crew socks though which I think are a little shorter than knee highs

i got those at modell's, i see them lots of places (champs, foot locker, famous footwear)
