Which cars do you guys prefer? Imports or American Muscle?
For me imports.

I don't like many imports. Supra's and Skyline's I would call import muscle, so they get a pass. I'm a fan of torque, so muscle is the way to go, most of the time. Though, I would take Euro's over both of them.
I'm a car guy, but I don't have love for a certain company like a lot of car guys do [Ford, Chevy], and I don't hate imports. I'm an equal opportunity car lover.

For new cars I prefer imports. I can hardly think of a single modern domestic car that I would drive over its japanese or german counterpart. Classic cars I take muscle all the way though. My dream car is a 69 Camaro SS.

I've been working on a restoration of a 66 Nova for a few years now.
And when we're done, my father and I are going to redo his 56 Vette.
So for me it's a no brainer.

Really!? That was my favorite car for the longest time! I had a tiny picture of a red one from Hot Rod magazine on my wall for 10 years before I moved into our new house.
I'm sure you must have 100's of resto pics, e-mail them to me? What are your plans with it? Lemme guess, twin turbo, twin supercharged, right!? JK Is it frame on or off restoration?

Technically It's an import, but no one uses that word to describe cars from Europe.
Muscle = American [obviously]
Import = Asian
Euro = European
That's how most car guys do it, to avoid confusion.

The exhaust is really wild. Twin-dual exhaust with a really mean sound. It had a 351 Cleveland in it.

Wow. I don't think I could ever shell out that much $ on after market work. I would definitely not do much on the interior/exterior. For sure a set of rims (black on black is my ideal look for the car) Then down the line probably headers and pipe work.

I've never been in one, nor have I ever seen one in real life before. Weird considering the hundreds of car shows I've been to. My dad said he used to have a friend that had a '73. My dad had a '78 Trans Am at the time and said the Pantera used to walk him all the time.

300ZX's are nice, however I love the 240SX, GIGANTIC engine bay...you can drop in an I-4/I-6 or a V6/V8.
I like muscle but I also like imports...
70-73 Dodge Challenger
67' Fastback Mustang
as well as
89-93/95-98 240SX(coupe and hatch)
93-98 Supra TT

98+ S15 Silvia
I hate when people think all import fans are ricers...ricers are the people that grab an import, go to autozone and purchase stickers, horrible body kits, horrible mufflers and put them on their cars.

Muscle
But nothing after 1990.
There is more to being a ricer than how your car looks.
If you weave threw traffic,you are a ricer.
If you rev up your engine at every stoplight hopeing for attention,you are a ricer
If you lose a race,and then come back with many excuses on why you lost,and say that you would have won,you are a ricer.
If you think doing burnouts or donuts is a sign of driving skill,you are probably a ricer.
If you lie about what has been done to your car,you are a ricer This one pisses me off the most.
And more....
You can drive nova and be the biggest ricer in the world.

Well what do you mean by ricers?? You can rice anything.
I meant like the stereotypical ricers. And really, from the stupid fart muffler to the terrible body kits, vinyls, etc etc, I jsut can't stand it on any car. What really gets me, is the people that spend tons of money to "beast" out their piece of **** cars. Here are some of the following examples:
http://media.photobucket.com/image/ricer%20cars/wolfwood390/ricer_civic_2.jpg
http://www.subiegal.com/images/events/WA%20Rice/summer2005/honda-ricer.jpg

http://www.topgear.com/content/timetoburn/sections/carbage/pages/0496/main.jpg
Those are different examples of standard, moderate, ridiculous, and ****ing retarded for ricers (not in that order).

Well, I dont mind people putting money into any car. I have a BMW 325I that's a sleeper. Aside from the throaty exhaust and it being lowered, you wouldnt be able to tell that I put a lot of money in the car. Its still a POS car though, all of the interior panels are falling off.
