I know this is old but I was just wondering what other people thought of this. Looked like a good player until he started getting into legal issues.

i believe him. i dont see why he would lie about it. its liek admitting you took a sh!t in your own car and posted pics on the internet about it. nothing good can come of it.

He didn't play ALL of his games 'drunk'.

He might get a shorter sentence and that's reason enough.

Exactly.

Alcoholics can drink without being drunk or even buzzed. Some of 'em it's like drinking water unless they get a full bottle in their system.

He was definitely on something during some of his games. Some of his dunks and blocks were Shawn Kemp like. Maybe not alcohol, but I could see him being high on cocaine during some games.

G.O.A.T if he played all games sober. Book it.

Do you host get-togethers every day?

What Clark likely meant to say isn't that he played every game "drunk" in the sense people often use that word, implying inability to stand up or whatever. He probably meant that he never played without some alcohol in his system. Maybe it just means that he'd have a glass of vodka before every game.

If he said it in court, absolutely.

I've been watching the 2002 Raptors-Pistons first round series lately and Keon Clark actually had a pretty great series. He only scored 3 points in the series opener, but then followed that up with 12, 18, 19, and 15 point games (along with 16 boards in game 4). To turn this toward one of my favorite players, I've often heard folks refer to Vince Carter as a waste because he was merely one of the best instead of the best but in my opinion, this (Clark) is the real waste. I think Keon could have been a real player but for unfortunate reasons, that never happened.

I remember him throwing down some beastly dunks on that awesome 2002-03 Kings team. Too bad Webber had to go down.
