you have to use the bolcks... to build a maze.

They are $50 each.


And then you have to upgrade your air defense.



Sometimes... you gotta use a few nukes as well...


You'll get use to how the weapons work once you play a few more times.

yea... that's the bad part... I spend all this time with a good strategy, and then when I get to around 40,000 or 50,000 points I die.

I pretty much crumble when they launch those durable tanks and aerial assaults. The jets are just too much at some points.

And yeah, the best you can do is funnel them into a maze or in a path you'd like them to take in order to slow some of them down....


I find that the flame throwers work the best for me. And of course nukes.

Damn you and your introduction to this game.
Anyways, my highest score was 81,822. It's mainly composed of laser weapons (unupgraded) and walls + few cannons.
Also, decided to play grounds only eh? It takes a bit longer than with both ground and air, but it's easier. :lol

I looked at the high scores and some dude played for 20 hours. HOLY SH*T!

Forgot to make some blocks earlier, so my defense was not as efficient as Doomsday Dallas.






That looks like you are playing Ground Game only.

I got 64,000 points with the ground & air game.

Yeah, I decided to play ground only to see what it feels like. It's much longer than Ground and Air.
Killing air vehicles greatly enhance your points.

My highest for Ground and Air was around 30,000 points. (more around 35,000).

I can't get past 64,000 points on Air & Ground... That's damn near impossible to go beyond that.... Too many Airplanes start attacking.

I don't know how other people do it. How good are the missile turrets in comparison to the other anti-air thingies (forgot its name)? Which is better? I haven't gotten around to using them.

I guess a solution would be to somehow incorporate a maze, but not too much walls and put a linear line of anti-air systems from the earth to where they spawn. I haven't tried so I don't know.

I'm telling you... flame throwers at level three (if they are placed in the right spot) takes care of most the ground work... The problem is finding the right balance of budgeting your money for the air attack.

Maybe I need more plasma guns, because they can attack both ground and air. You can also switch lazer guns to attack airplanes only.

Yea... eventually you'll get up to 50,000 if you build a decent maze... but good luck getting past 64,000.

Made it to 51000 on my first try. Not too hard, I should have just focused on mazing more as opposed to upgrading everything.

How do you usually do things? Do you make maze then upgrade, or do you upgrade as much as you can then worry about maze later? Of course you need to do both, but which is considered more improtant?

I'll consider the flamethrower next time. I used it, but I never upgraded them...so that could have been my problem


Well at first... I always struggle to get past a few areas because I don't have a maze built... So I try to build a maze with the weapons I buy... normally closer to the area where the enemies are coming from. There is always one little tank or airplane that seems to get by, so I'm usually forced to spend $250 on a small nuke early in the game.

However, one of the first times I played this game... I built my maze closer to my own base... and I got to 54,000 points?


The thing is with the flame thrower... It's effective early in the game... I'm not so sure if works that great when you get into the 50,000 point range.


(I don't spend a lot of money on blocks... but I might start doing that.)
