I know, another 2K10 thread. I apologize.

But I'm always interested in other people's dynasties and who they are playing with and what kind of numbers they are putting up with their players. I used to have a pretty detailed page on dynastymanager.com. Feel free to discuss how you're single player association mode is going. I'm interested and maybe others are as well.

I just started my first Association up after spending all of my first several weeks on My Player mode. I'm playing with the Bucks, with these sliders http://www.operationsports.com/forums/nba-2k-sliders/366004-sim-2k10-sliders-yes-they-work.html , on Hall of Fame level, and 9 minute quarters.

I'm currently 4-0:
@76ers - W 129-100
vs. Pistons - W 117-105
@Bulls - 136-96
@Timberwolves - 118-110

My "Big 4" as I like to refer to them:
Brandon Jennings: 23.5 ppg, 19.8 apg, 2.5 rpg, 2.3 spg, 5.5 TOPG, 50% FG, 88.8% FT

Michael Redd: 31.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 2.0 TOPG, 52.8% FG, 38.8% 3P, 83.3% FT

Andrew Bogut: 24.3 ppg, 17.3 rpg, 4.0 apg, 73% FG, 55.5% FT

Hakim Warrick: 17.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.5 spg, 68.8% FG, 85.7% FT

I think about 99% of Boguts points are coming off a Jennings assist and are all dunks or layups. Even though Bogut shoots nothing but layups he misses enough per game to piss me off from time. I had to boost up the 3P slider a couple of points because I shot 1/16 from 3 my first game, despite taking a lot of open kick out 3's with Redd, Meeks, and Bell.

My bad. I thought all the other threads were for online dynasties. I was just interested to see how peoples offline single player dynasties were going and who they were playing with, etc.

I'm a Celtics fan, but winning with them is too easy, in my opinion. I've had some blowouts with the Bucks even on HOF level, but their team ratings are all in the low 70s. I haven't had too tough of a schedule yet. Right now I'm up 98-71 on the Knicks in the 4th quarter.

For fun I scoured the internet today and gathered different info. and created Jordan and put him and Pippen (via the 90's East team) on the current Bulls roster. I simulated the regular season and got the 2 seed behind the Cavs in the East but made it to the Finals agains the Lakers. (Exactly what I was shooting for, Jordan vs. Kobe.)

I played on HOF level, 9 minute quarters (which is apparently too much time) and won 151-110. With Jordan and Pippen this Bulls team is unstoppable.

Jordan's line: 31/51, 1/2 3P, 6/8 FT, 69 pts, 6 reb, 10 asts, 4 stl, 4 TO

Kobe's line: 21/42, 2/8 3P, 3/3 FT, 47 pts, 11 reb, 7 asts, 1 stl, 6 TO

For most of the game I tried to control Jordan myself on defense when Kobe had the ball, which was a mistake, because I apparently suck at playing man-to-man defense with the guy I'm controlling when his man has the ball. Kobe would just take one dribble by me and score. Also, it should be noted, I rested Jordan for the first 3 minutes of the 4th quarter, and Kobe came out like gangbusters and got about 10 points with Salmons guarding him. In game 2 I'm never going to control Jordan on defense and see how Kobe does. Reason being...Not once did I control Pippen on defense, his assignment for the game Artest had a terrible game.

Artest: 4/19, 1/7 3P, 0/0 FT, 9 pts, 4 reb, 6 asts, 3 stl, 1 blk, 2 TO

CPU Pippen shutdown Artest so hopefully CPU Jordan will shutdown Kobe in game 2.

And as for Pippen...

Pippen: 12/16, 3/3 FT, 27 pts, 10 reb, 8 asts, 2 stl, 2 blk, 1 TO

Does anyone else struggle to play defense when they are controlling a player and his man has the ball? Or is it just me?

I started a Bobcats one a few days ago, but thinking of just sticking to My Player Mode for now until the PC version gets the updated patch. I tend to get deep into my association/dynasty/whatever they've been called in the past mode, but I'd much rather start a proper one with the updated patch rather than just waste my time on doing one for a few weeks without the update.

Still, I'm on HoF, 12 min quarters, and with the Bobcats, it's a bit of a struggle, but I like it that way. I like the realism. Went 2-5 through my first 7 games, with Gerald Wallace averaging 18/7/2, Felton averaging 12/2/8, and everyone else pretty much struggling, other than DJ Augustin who is giving me about 10 points a game off the bench.

Like I said though, think I'll just wait for the patch, and then give it another go, this time with Captain Jack!

I picked up Magic because I like the 3 points game.
My Team:
Howard: 24 points 10 rebouds 3.5 assists 1.7 steal and 2.8 blocks.
Lewis: 17 points 6 rebounds 2.8 assists 1.2 steal and 2.2 blocks.
Roger Mason: 10.9 points 1 rebound 1.2 assists.
Vince: 17.8 points 3 rebounds 5.7 assists 1.5 steal and 1 block
Nelson: 7.7 points 2 rebounds 12.2 assists 3.2 steals
CJ Watson: 13.8 points 7.6 assists 1.5 rebound and 3.1 steals
Morrow: 19.5 points 1 rebound 1 assist and 1 steal

I only use these guys on my whole rosters. I was able to pick up Watson and Morrow from Golden States for Gortat or something and traded Pietrus for Roger. Sometimes I let Lewis play Center and Morrow for PF. I must get at least like 15-18 3's made by all the players. My record is 17-6 right now.

I'm thinking of keeping the Bucks dynsaty around but I'm going to give myself the last pick and do a fantasy draft.

My last two games in the Bucks dynasty I've won at home 127-74 over the Warriors and 140-114 over the Mavericks. I need a new challenge.

ive been playing on all star with the warriors 12 min quarters

havent done any trades so the team goes like this

pg-ellis
sg-bell
sf-buike
pg-randolph
c-biedrins

6th-maggs
7-morrow
8-turiaf
9-curry
10-wright

thats pretty much my rotation

Just did a draft with the Nets. I had the 30th overall pick.

PG Ray Felton/Darren Collison
SG Mike Miller/Sonny Weems
SF Shane/Battier/Chase Budinger
PF Dirk Nowitzki/James Johnson
C Roy Hibbert/Hasheem Thabeet

I obviously made a stretch for some of the players like Thabeet. I tried to make this a not so good team so it'll be a challenge. I actually know Sonny Weems so it's always fun to play with someone you've actually met and hungout with in real life.

Scratch that last one. I took 10 legends off of the All-Decade teams and put them into a fantasy draft. I did a serpentine draft so I would have the #1 pick in round 1 and last pick in round 2.

My team...

PG Steve Nash/Eric Maynor
SG Ronnie Brewer/Mitch Petrus
SF Chase Budinger/Joe Alexander
PF Tyler Hansbrough/Marc Gasol
C Hakeem Olajuwon/Roy Hibbert

I just won game one 111-92.
Olajuwon 37/13/2/1
Nash: 18/24

sounds like you run and gun a bit....
those are extremely high scores for 9 mins and big margains wow! lol,
i play at the same level and although the CPU gets alot of cheap
quick baskets from bull$hit plays i play 10 mins quarters and manage just over 105 PPG,
but i like to simulate plays and use majority of the shot clock not so much run down the floor and shoot

Jennings is a good player hes one of my favourite players in the nba right now and i was going to use bucks but if REDD gets injured it becomes a struggle so im using CAVS

Well, due to my 360 suffering the RROD and not being under warranty anymore, I had to go out and get a new one. I got a used one from a friend for $150 so it wasn't bad, but I lost that Bucks dynasty. Which sucks becuase I was having a lot of fun with it. And yes, I basically was playing like the Phoenix Suns. SSOL type offense, getting out and running with Jennings, and Redd going for about 31 a game. Jennings was good for 20 and 20 a night and Bogut was close to 20 and 20 as well. A fun dynasty that I hate losing.

I did just start a new one up (did a fantasy draft serpentine style) with the Celtics. I had the 5th pick in the first round, 26th in the 2nd, 5th in the 3rd, 26th in the 4th, etc. Here's my roster.

Rd 1. KG
Rd 2. VC
Rd 3. Gerald Wallace
Rd 4. Ty Lawson
Rd 5. Okur
Rd 6. Nocioni
Rd 7. Stackhouse
Rd 8. Brandan Wright
Rd 9. Janero Pargo
Rd 10. Brendan Haywood
Rd 11. Desmond Mason
Rd 12. Taylor Griffin

(I'm a UNC fan so I like to get some UNC flavor on my roster whenever possible. I'm sure you can see that with me having Lawson, VC, Stackhouse, Wright, and Haywood.)

Starting Lineup (moved Jefferson to the 2)

Lawson
VC
Wallace
Garnett
Okur

Pargo
Stackhouse
Nocioni
Wright
Haywood

lawson
ray allen
melo
bargnani
nene

did some trades, it was ray allen for baron davis and JR smith, then scraps for gallo
now got

davis (still have lawson as a back up)
gallinari/jr smith
melo
bargs
nene

we r really good....
what i wna do next is, make a 5"3 really really athletic PG, put him in the draft, draft him melo, smith, beasley, and any center (mayb bogut or nene or kaman) just for fun

I did a redraft(2nd pick), and im 6-0 so far.

CE-Joakim Noah/Ronny Turiaf
PF-Marreese Speights/Hakim Warrick/Taylor Griffin
SF-LeBron James/Jamario Moon
SG-Ray Allen/Roger Mason
PG-Steve Nash/Earl Boykins

I feel stupid I cant remember the other guys name. Its too early for me tothink. But yeah, I love this team. This backcourt is seriously dangerous. Ive also got LBJ averaging around 3spg, leading the league

12-12-2009, 07:53 PM
Ok. I played a game with that team, didn't like the way things flowed, how some of the players play on the game, etc. So I did a re-draft. With the Pistons

Lawson
VC
Rashard Lewis
Duncan
Camby

Jason Williams
Tracy McGrady (worked a trade to get him)
Kirilenko
Gooden
Aaron Gray

Finally got a dynasty going where it's been more competitive and I'm not blowing everyone out by 35+.

So far I'm 6-0

vs. Rockets W 115-98
vs. 76ers W 146-136 F/OT
@ Clippers W 110-98
@ Nuggets W 117-110
@ Jazz W 127-109
vs. T-Wolves W 126-100

Some of those were closer than the final score indicated. Either I got hot in the final 2 minutes, made FT's b/c the CPU was intentionally fouling, and/or the CPU went cold down the stretch.

Lawson: 11.3 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 18.7 apg, .472 FG%, .941 FT%

Carter: 23.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 3.2 apg, .659 FG%, .769 3P%, .933 FT%

Lewis: 15.5 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.0 apg, .544 FG%, .642 3P%, .909 FT%

Duncan: 31.5 ppg, 13.3 rpg, 3.8 apg, .828 FG%, .714 FT%

Camby: 12.8 ppg, 7.0 3ppg, 4.3 apg, 2.2 bpg, .472 FG%, .941 FT%

McGrady: 15.2 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 4.5 apg, 2.2 spg, .450 FG%, .771 FT%

Gooden: 8.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg, .718 FG%

Gray: 6.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.2 apg, .500 FG%, 1.000 FT% (12/12)

That's not a type on Duncan's or VC's shooting %'s. 99.9% of Duncan's shots are layups or dunks, and most of my shots with Vince are at the rim as well. VC and Shard are scorching it from deep. I don't shoot a lot of threes but when they are left wide open they knock it down quite a bit, as the numbers indicate.

I play HOF 12 min quarters, w Pareds sliders from Operationsports.com forums. I am currently 5-2 with the Clippers, Ive gone 2-1 with me playing and I simmed the others because I was in the middle of the game but I had to leave the house. I am using the Clippers with:

Kaman
Griffin
Thornton
Gordon
Baron

bench:
Camby
Jordan
Smith
Davis
Butler
Telfair
Novak
Skinner
Collins
Rush

I am avg 30 PPG and 12 APG with Baron and 21 PPG with Kaman, and I need to find a way to move either Kaman or Camby to free up some minutes for Deandre Jordan because hes a beast and dunks almost anything in the paint this game. I am doin my best to run Dumbleavys rotation BTW.

KG215

I've been offered DeAndre Jordan a couple of times already in a trade. I may have to go work one oout for him if what you say is true. Gray's shooting percentage was 50% when I posted that last night, but I've played 3 games since then and he's something like a combined 3/16. I had back to back 1/6 games with him. And he's not missing tough shots either. They're layups or turn around baby hooks.

Griffin is a beast on the game as well. I had a dynasty mode going where I had drafted him in a fantasy draft (as my backup PF) and after 5 or 6 games he was averaging like 14/6 while only getting 12-14 minutes in a 36 minute game. I would have started him but I liked having the scoring spark off the bench since no one else in my second unit was a real threat to score.

dj is really good in the game at put back dunks, and rebounding, he can't post up well though

Well Gray is given me solid prodcution the last three games

12 min, 6 pts, 3 reb, 2 blk
10 min, 8 pts, 3 reb, 3 asts
12 min, 8 pts, 4 reb

But before that he kept missing a ton of easy lay ups or baby hooks and it was really annoying me. If he keeps this play up, though, I'll keep him.

Am I the only one that is BEYOND tired of having a pass go right through one of your post player's hands and out of bounds? This happens to me 3-5 times a game when trying to make a pass to Gooden (while he's unguarded, pass doesn't get tipped or anything) and it either goes through his hands, or bounces off his hands and out of bounds. I looked and his 'Hands' rating is a 37. I upped it to about a 48 so hopefully it'll cut back on this problem. Gooden is a solid PF and would be in any team's rotation. He shouldn't be that bad at catching the ball. Not even the worst bigs in the league are THAT bad at catching the ball.

It looks like some you guys get as bored with a team and do as many "re-drafts" as I do.

One team can keep my attention for 8-12 games. Right now I'd say I have 8-10 different asssociation modes saved on my hard drive. Some are actual rosters, some aren't. Combined I've probably played 65 games in all of them. The furthest along into one of them is the current one with the Pistons (Lawson/VC/Lewis/Duncan/Camby) where I'm 14-0. For some reason I'm really enjoying playing with this team and haven't got bored with it yet.

The team I posted above is amazing. Im planning on making a team with some rookies tomorrow, seeing as I never bother with them. Probably going to be a 58 game season(the one I posted above is just 29)

I Have started an Association with the lakers on All Pro 8 minute quarters my first point of business was to trade Sasha vujacic i traded him to the Timberwolves for Ryan hollins and Nathan Jawai gotta have some Aussie flavour in there lol this trade was mainly to stop sasha from complaining about not getting any minutes as i play Shannon brown way more instead of giving him minutes.

Then Memphis offered me a trade Josh Powell for a 2nd round draft pick now i thought about that and thought i could work something better out so i ended up working out a 3 team trade between the Grizz the Lakers and the bulls here is how it went down

Grizz Get

Josh Powell (lal)
Ryan Hollins (lal)

Bulls Get

Adam Morrision (lal)
2011 first round Pick (lal)

Lakers Get

John Salmons (chi)
Marcus Williams (mem)

So i was Pretty happy with that trade as i was looking for a good back up small foward as Artest's stamina does not seem to be the best so here is my current Lakers roster i am currently 21 and 9

Starters

Andrew Bynum C
Pau Gasol PF
Ron Artest SF
Kobe Bryant SG
Derek Fisher PG

Bench

6. Lamar Odom
7. Shannon Brown
8. John Salmons
9. Jordan Farmar
10. Luke Walton
11. Dj Mbenga
12. Marcus Williams

Ok guys i got a couple of questions about ''bugs'' i have in the nba 2k10 game for the pc.

I started the association mode, and made some trades, i ended up with noah and brandon bass, in the game they appear to be perfect 3 point shooters, while in real life they cant hit shit from 3 point line, so can i fix this somehow?

Another bug i have is when you have the association mode, you can chose to go to the development mode, lets say i choose Ricky davis to do a shooting workout, that ''should'' improve his shooting ability if you make enough shots.
When i did the training right, his ability for shooting goes from B to C+ and his rating goes from 64 to 62 or smth, am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

I don't have it on PC so I'm not sure how any of that works, but on the 360 an PS3 you can go to rosters and edit player ratings, so I'd give that a shot.

IT would only take two seconds. All you have to do is go to your roster, select Noah, go see what his 3pt rating is, and take it down a little bit. If it takes you more than 30 seconds to edit both players then something is wrong.

Were you just playing season? Season you can make any trades you want and it will go through.

Anyways started a new association with the Nets and here is my roster:

PG - D. Harris / J. Bayless
SG - J. Harden / C. Lee
SF - T. Williams / B. Simmons (?)
PF - Y. Jianlian / K. Humphries(?)
C - A. Bynum / H. Thabeet

I forgot who I have off the bench at SF and PF so I put those two scrubs there

Nah... it is definitely possible... one time me and one of my friends did an association and I wound up like 3-4 yrs in having, Paul, LeBron, Roy.... all max contracts, a couple rookie like 70 overalls and then bench scrub minimum players

I got pretty bored with the game so I decided to do something new. I took the Pistons, simulated the 1st season, uplaoded a 2010 draft class of 2kshare, and am playing that class in the 2010-2011 season. I go the #2 pick and took Derek Favors. I wanted a PF or C since I had Sutckey at PG and was fine with Rip/Gordon at the SG. Prince/Jerkbo/Daye at SF was fine with me as well. I cut Big Ben and Wilcox, signed Darko in free agency (nice little twist), and am killing with Favors and Stuckey.

I also got Kalin Lucas in the 2nd round of the draft as my backup PG.

My rotation is

PG: Stuckey/Lucas
SG: Rip/Gordon
SF: Prince/Jerebko/Daye
PF: Villanueva/Maxiell
C: Favors/Darko

Favors is averaging 30/11.3/2.1apg/1.3spg/1.8bpg on .788 FG%, .800 FT% through three games.

Stuckey: 23/13.7apg/2.4rpg/1.7spg/1.3bpg .659 FG%, .866 FT%

Favors game log so far:

Gm1 - 25 min, 24 pts, 11 reb, 3 asts, 1 stl, 1 blk
Gm2 - 30 min, 32 pts, 14 reb, 2 asts, 1 stl, 3 blk
Gm3 - 25 min, 34 pts, 9 reb, 2 asts, 2 stl, 1 blk

Did a fantasy draft w the Clippers, simmed most of the first season and then played the last 15 games or so to make it to the playoffs where I won the championship. I drafted Jordan Crawford with the 30th pick, then DeSean Butler with my 2nd rounder, then signed Al Harringston for the MLE.

Emeka Okafor/DeAndre Jordan/Rasho Nesterovic
David West/Al Harrington
Josh Howard/Quentin Richardson/D'Sean Butler
Jason Richardson/Anthony Morrow/Jordan Crawford
Derrick Rose/Shaun Livingston/Jason Hart

I tried to not build too strong of a team on purpose to keep games a bit challenging.

So far in the 2011 season im 3-0 on HOF difficulty 12 min quarters, downloaded sliders to make it realistic.

Rose is averaging 16/16 a game
Livingston 5/10 off the bench
David West 25/8
Okafor 12/10

This new "ezperiment" is actually pretty fun. Favors is dominating as a rookie and Stuckey is having a career year.

Stats through 15 games (29 game season)

Favors: 33.5 ppg, 12.4 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.3 spg, 1.9 bpg, .731 FG%, .693 FT%, 32.56 PER

Stuckey: 30.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 13.7 apg, .789 FT%, .433 3P%, .864 FT%, 36.77 PER

Favors best game to date came against the Blazers: 40 pts, 16 reb, 2 asts, 4 stl, 2 blk

I just had a 35/21/7 game with Stuckey. Favors is leading the MVP race and Stuckey is second. Stuckey is also leading the MIP race while Favors is leading the ROY race. Despite his ridiculous numbers, Favors is still a distant second behind Dwight Howard in All-Star voting. Howard is averaging 20.9/14.91.3a, 3.3b

couple things i'd like to say...

first, is it possible to get over 60 wins, just simulating? i have yet to see a team get 60. closest i've gotten was 59 with the Bulls.

second, there are some serious, serious problems with the games. i have two nba defensive first teamers on my team, and i'm still getting 40 points dropped on me in a quarter by a team who has 70 overall offense. what gives? :confusedshrug:

third, LeBron James is way, way, wayyyy to good. he kept on winning consecutive MVPs, for at least 7 seasons... i created a maxed-out PG to see if he would overtake him, and it did happen... when LeBron was 37.

I got the game a couple days ago, and there is an update which my PS3 for some reason isn't letting me update... does that update fix these problems?

KG215

Not really. I've learned that more than likely one [layer is going to go off on me each game. There's going to be on guy that shoots 80%+ from the field and score 35+ points. Last game I played the Lakers, and Kobe scored 44 on me, on 17/19 from the field and 3/4 from 3, and perfect from the line. And he was taking a lot of tough and contested jumpers. They weren't all lay-ups. In that game I was down 43-28 after the 1st quarter. As a team, the Lakers only missed two shots in the entire quarter. I just stayed with it, they started to miss, and I ended up holding them to 59 points for the rest of the game, and winning by 20.

The aggravating thing, though, is that it doesn't even have to be a great player like Kobe. I'v ehad guys who are the team's 3rd option drain everything. I'm talking like a PF or C sitting out from 15-18 feet all game long and knocking down 70% of their sohts, even though they might take 3 or 4 shots inside the lane.

so i just started an association yesterday for the first time. this is my first 2k game and i only play my player mode, im terrible at playing the whole team and not much better at my player mode, but i definitely enjoy it.

i didn't really know what to expect with association mode, i went in blind. first of all, for some reason i got a bunch of created legends in the draft. i don't think it included the all decade teams, and i don't think all of the dream team i downloaded are in there either, but there is a few. i don't know where the association picks its players from, because in my case it didn't stick to current nba teams, maybe someone can explain how the selection process works.

off the top of my head jordan is in there and he is 99 overall, went to cavs first pick and is averaging 24/9/9/3.5/2 on something like .530, seems he'd benefit from taking more shots but that's how 2k sims it. kareem is in the game, chuck is in there, stockton, reggie miller, laettner and kemp.

i picked the spurs as they had a decent cap but not crazy like cavs/celts/laker/magic/mavs. also since i didn't want too much to think about in my first game i turned injuries and season fatigue off and i sim all the my games since playing would take too long and i suck anyway. i got the 17th pick and the best player left on the board was reggie miller so i took him. at that point i thought since i had the best 3 point shooter in the game i'd grab some more of them. before that i picked a point guard since i wanted a decent one, wanted a passer with a good IQ and i got andre miller.

my starting lineup looks like this:

reggie miller
andre miller
rashard lewis
troy murphy
shaquille oneal

so i have 3 A rated 3 point shooters in my starting lineup. i was just hoping my 3 point tactic would work, hopefully spreading the floor nicely for andre miller to drive and for shaq to do work in the post (i am anything but a basketball expert, this just seemed a fun idea to me).

i should mention that the east is stacked, they got most of the best picks, fortunately for me. so far my record 33-15, top of the west, 1 game ahead of jordan's cavs in the east as well.

reggie has been a true leader:

25.2pts - 7.3reb - 6.6ast - 1.7st - 0.8blk - .478fg - .4163pt

he's my only all star (they were just announced so i'm in late jan i think) and he's 4th in mvp race.

my bench (the ones that matter) are:

marcin gortat who is my 6th man
james posey
flip murray
sefolosha, these 3 are all role players.

i actually drafted sefolosha specifically for defence. he is my best perimeter defender and his minutes noticeably increase against teams with a star in the backcourt, which i think is pretty cool since the game just did that without any instruction from me.

sundiata gaines is the other bench player who gets significant minutes, he started at 5mpg shared with a couple others, i bumped those guys down a bit upped gaines' minutes to 10 since he seems to do a good job. i'm still $10mil under the spurs cap so if understood trades better i might work something out there, or if i hadn't become fairly attached to my team. am loving this mode so far (easy to say when you're winning i suppose).

finally, how the hell do you stop centers taking 3's? one game shaq took 5 3point shots. every game he takes at least 2.

haha nice man, but where did you get the rosters for michael jordan etc.
ur tactic seems nice, in trading mode, not so hard just look at salaries, pick a player you want in ur team, and then look on ur own team, wich player be able to be traded for him.

on the 3 point shooting centers: i have no idea i had 1 season j.noah and b.bass lighting up the scoreboard on me with 3's, man in ur face 2 meters behind 3 point line, nothing but net..

Not sure if this has been discussed in this thread or another.... but is there any way to get the big free agents to opt out? I have simulated a number of seasons and basically everyone but Lebron picks up their player options, and I think Lebron re-signs with the Cavs because he's never a FA. Anyone been able to enter free agency and have all the big guys available to sign?

Most of the times I've simmed through the first year, Carlos Boozer and Rudy Gay are the two highest rated FA's that opt out of their option. On an extremely rare ocassion Lebron will as well, but not often.

Are you in year two or three? That's a pretty good team. Similar to one I've gotten a few times via fantasy draft to start a franchse. I'd say you're on the right track. A good mix of veterans and young players in your starting lineup and a decent bench.

I got bored with My Player mode and decided to stat a new franchise with the Celtics. I simulated through the first season (won the championship 4-3 over the Thunder) and uploaded a 2010 draft class via 2K Share.

I got offered some terrible (or good in my case) trades that I could pass up while simulating.

Jerryd Bayless and a 2010 1st round pick for Nate Robinson

Trevor Ariza for Marquis Daniels and Tony Allen

Hammed Haddadi and a 2010 1st rounder for Rasheed Wallace

Then my good luck got even better. The Haddadi trade gave me the Grizzlies 1st rounder which gave me a lottery pick. I started off the lottery with the worst odds (14th) of landing the #1 pick. Somehow, though, I ended up with the #2 overall pick. So, with my three first round picks (#2, #25, #29) I got...

2 - DeMarcus Cousins
25 - Craig Brackins
29 - Gordon Hayward

My roster is loaded

Starting lineup
PG Rajon Rodo (89 overall)
SG Ray Allen (82 overall)
SF Paul Pierce (84 overall)
PF Kevin Garnett (85 overall)
C Kendrick Perkins (80 overall)

Bench
DeMarcus Cousins (80 overall)
Trevor Ariza (79 overall)
Jerryd Bayless (74 overall)
Gordan Hayward (73 overall)
Glen Davis (71 overall)
Craig Brackins (71 overall)

That's an eleven man rotation where the average overall rating is 79. I downloaded a current roster via 2K share and Rondo's rating took a big jump from year one to year two.

I've beat the Nets (147-104) and th Bazer (131-124) who added Joe Johnson in the offseason.

Me and my friends did a 4 team association but on the same counsel. Could we do this online?

I think you can create a league and do it but I don't think they would let computer run teams. So probably not.

Cut his ass, or trade him to the worst team in the league.

This has been the most ridiculous/fortunate dynasty I've ever done. I'm only 3 games into the second year, but I just got offered this trade...

Blake Griffin and 2012 1st rd pick

for

Kendrick Perkins

No idea why. I just replaced Kendrick Perkins with Blake Griffin and now have a starting lineup of Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Griffin, and KG, with DeMarcus Cousins and Trevor Ariza as my 6th and 7th men.

PG: Rondo
SG: Redd
SF: Butler
PF: Brand
C: Camby

Bench:
J-Rich (sixth man)
Duhon

What do y'all think? It's the first time I've tried out fantasy draft (I prefer playing with 'real' teams), but it's fun so far. How would this team do in the actual NBA? :)

Don't you find it boring scoring so easily and blowing teams out every time?

I'm playing on HOF difficulty and with some sliders I downloaded on 2K Share that had a high rating and a lot of downloads. And yes, it gets boring every once in a while blowing everyone out, but I don't know what else to do. I've played so long and so much now, that I'd have to take my sliders way down (and shoot around 42%) in order to have competitive games where I lose here and there.

Not bad. What pick did you have? You've got a nice mixture of offense and defene in your starting lineup and have a soring spark off the bench as your sixth man, which is what I try to do in a fantasy draft.

For fun-mostly-I started another dynasty as well doing a fantasy draft, except I got on 2K Share and downloaded all the legends I could find. I'm the Blazers and had the 10t pick in a serpentine draft.

Starters
PG Gary Payton
SG Vince Carter
SF Bernard King
PF Ben Wallace
C Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (not sure how he fell to me at #10)

Bench
PG Jose Calderon
SG Michael Redd
SF Hedo Turkoglu (6th man)
PF Serge Ibaka
C Zaza Pachulia

I just finished the first quarter of game 1 and have already figured out this is going to be even easier than my first dynasty. I scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds with Kareem in the first quarter, and have a 39-13 lead.

I'm playing the Raptors who have Durant, Nash, and Bob Pettit.

I ended up winning by about 50. Kareem went for 46 and 18 with 5 blocks.

Do you play on PC? If you have online access you should be able to get onto 2K Share and download players.
