anyway new moon was a disgrace of a film, the biggest issue was the script, infact the actual dialogue ranged from cringe inducing to laugh outloud terrible. the direction was disgusting...so heavy handed and unsubtle, the editing alone was testemant to the fact that this film had been rushed out before the hype dies down. the whole thing felt like a really bad soap opera it was that contrived and melodramatic.
i will give credit where credit is due, there was one scene that was very well executed- the chase scene in the forest with the red head girl- that was very well done. infact the soundtrack was the only overall redeaming feature of this abomination of film making, oh and kirsten stewerts acting was marginally better this time but still the worst film i have seen so far this year.

There was a lot of awkwardness in the first that I didn't see in the second.

I felt the acting, action and directing was better in the second. Dialogue is about even, as they both just take lines out of the book basically.
For me, Twilight gets a 1.5-2, and NM gets a 5-6.

Saw it online for possible werewolf/vampire fights. Those were all of 15 minutes altogether. Movie was unbelievably retarded. I'm pretty sure the actors know it too, but eh, i'd do it for a paycheck as well.

I especially loved the part about how 'Bella' is so spectacularly special that none of the vampires powers work on her, for absolutely no reason other than that she's just so goshdarn special.

Oh, and her name means 'Beautiful', even though she's not, because thats what a princess's name would be in a repressed childhood fantasy tale. Especially in a movie where all of the extraordinary, good-looking, dangerous bad-boys she encounters fall obsessively in love with her because she's so mysterious and irresistable. Right. :oldlol:
