Damn, I dug this show, one of the best I've ever seen.

I've been watching the Wire for the first time over the last month or so. One or two episodes per day. I'm three episodes into the 5th season and it's an incredible show.

Through seasons 1 and 2 I thought "Wow, this is excellent". Halfway through season 3 is when "This is one of the greatest shows ever" hit me. Season 3 was perfection. One of the single best seasons/stories I've ever seen told on TV.
