Yes, I retouch my own photos in most cases. Some magazines have retouchers they like to work on what goes into print but most places use mine.

These are for Maxim and that being a glamour magazine, of course the retouching will be more than a fashion shoot. Here is a girl next door shoot I did. As you can see, not much retouching at all. So the type of shoot and the client will dictate the level of retouching.

Its for the Latin version and I never give full, exclusive copyright to any publication. I retain copyright as well which means I can do what I want with them short of selling the images before they are published.

Never hit on models during a shoot, you get a bad rep. I do however go with them for dinner and/or drinks afterwards quite a bit. Sometimes we drink during the shoot too. Just depends on who it is and what kind of shoot. If its a shoot where the client is paying everyone, its all business. If its a shoot where the model is paying me or its a trade for portfolio work, thats more kick back and fun.

FYI...My website will be coming early next year and I will not only be posting behind the scenes photos and videos but I will have some live webcasts of shoots. That will give you an idea of what goes on :D
