What up fellas. Haven't been on in a while. Me and my friend are wondering how tall really kobe bryant and MJ barefoot . This isn't no flame thread, I don't have anything against Kobe, MJ, Lebron, Wade, or etc. I know there both listed at 6'6, but I heard a lot of talk about it not being true. I searched on yahoo answers and google, but I remembered this forum. You guys know the ins and outs of basketball! :D I also heard MJ use to hang on a bar everyday for an hour. anyone know anything about that?

According to Kobe and his wife he's 6'4" or 6'4 3/4" barefoot.

It's one of the silly things about hoops that they all identify by their height in sneakers "because they play games in sneakers." Well you know what, I wear shoes when I'm driving, so how come my drivers license lists my barefoot height?

It's scary how similar these 2 are in some ways. Both are the same height, similar in weight, play the shooting guard posiiton, but can play point guard or small forward, they play or played for Phil Jackson, were part of a 3peat(2 in Jordan's case), MVP, Finals MVP, scoring champions, similar moves, similar egos, similar work ethic, similar basketball obsession ect.

There will never be another Michael Jordan, but Kobe is the closest we'll ever see.

The post was Jordan's bread and butter during his twilight years. Unstoppable pretty much. Kobe has a way to go before he gets to Jordan's level in the post.

[B]True agree with what u say and ofcourse with what i said isquite a good description. Also the reason why MJ was more succesful in the 2-point region was because Jordan was simply just "naturally stronger and more athletic". He caused the same fear effect Lebron causes when he drives, except he could hang more split seconds and be more graceful at the same time. Not to mention his 1st step was insane (ala James at the SF/PF) and to add to the mix a similar like quickness explosion in small spaces that Wade has as a 6
