Kobe Bryant is friends with Tiger Woods, and the Lakers' guard abruptly ended a Wednesday interview when asked about the golfer.

When he heard the word "Tiger", Bryant said, "Man, get off that. I knew there was going to be one," and he ended the interview.

Why would he answer questions about what Tiger did when it would bring up what he did? I call that being sensible.

No, Woods has a pre-nup so he doesn't have to make an idiot out of himself with a butterfly tattoo. He may lose his marriage, but that doesn't seem to have been a great concern of his, judging by recent revelations.

Its funny how a celebrity who literally has EVERYTHING can cheat on his wife, or rape someone, or do roids, or host an illegal dog-fighting ring, etc. etc. etc. and by the time the whole thing is said and done the public feels SORRY for the guy! Yeah, he's under a microscope. Tough sh!t. You sacrifice your privacy when you become a larger than life sports icon. If you don't want your dirty laundry aired all over the place, don't have dirty laundry.

Adultery really isn't on par with dog-fighting or rape, and as it's really more a family issue than a public one we care less than when it's a roided-up cheater (though it's so damn prevalent in baseball it's almost like it's not cheating anymore...another topic). I disagree with the idea that he has no right to privacy. If you buy his Nike apparel or a ticket to the US Open then that's what you bought, not the right to know how many women he's slept with. Does a plumber surrender his right to privacy when he cleans out your drain? No, so it should be no different for a celebrity unless they're one of these reality tv prats that are contracted to have their every waking moment recorded. With that said, it would be unrealistic to think that he can keep secrets like these when he's a famous person. If a woman can get a million for a tell-all book about you and she's a cocktail waitress you had best be damn careful about how much evidence you leave behind.

And the unfortunate truth about our society: Over half of all marriages in America end in divorce. Tiger Woods is definitely not the first man (or woman) to be unfaithful. A lof the people judging Woods have issues of their own behind clothes doors. Did you know that researchers at the University of Montreal wanted to study the habits on porn-viewers vs. non-viewers and could not because they couldn't find anyone that didn't watch porn? Human beings are generally obsessed with sex, so whereas everyone is not an adulterer and there are plenty of happy, healthy marriages it doesn't strike me as fair to only give Woods the scarlet letter.

So are non-celebrities wives that are cheated. :confusedshrug:

The point is i'm not defending they should cheat on wives. But stating superstars should not fall in miss behaviors because they "have it all" is quite stupid. Specially considering they have a lot more exposure to beautiful women and such.

So because the media decides to make a big deal about it and shove it down our throats, that somehow makes it okay? The media is very much at fault here, but I guess that's what happens when three or four companies control every channel on television. There used to be something called journalistic integrity, but that has changed over the years. They'd rather cover the story that is going to get ratings and make them money, instead of actually informing us about world events that affect the big picture.

Kobe btw has probably been the most faithful husband since the incident. Unlike MJ (who cheated on his wife into his late 30s!) he confronted his moral failings at a very young age, became almost like a martyr by showing all athletes what can happen if you're not faithful. You don't think athletes remember Kobe any time they think to cheat on their wife? Dude has probably saved countless marriages by becoming an example. The strength of his character made it seem easy though, dude was in hearings during the day and then draining gamewinners at night...Tiger on the other hand won't be hitting the courses for a long long time. So make fun of him all you want, all I see is a strong, courageous, family committed man, who happens to be the best at what he does

Its unfortunate really.

And quite embarrassing to read. These are actual haters. Men/women, whoever, that sit around waiting to bash others who are accomplishing far more in their lives...so when that said person fails at something, or is caught in a tight situation, you have these select few that laugh, point, or post silly pictures on here spreading their negativity around.

All most of you have to remember is that the people who hate like that, are generally just sad individuals.

It doesnt bother me that these men on here are just making jackasses of themselves. Integrity is something that your parents teach you, and unfortunately these people didnt have a great upbringing it would seem.

There is no excuse for that. Are you going to argue now that Ron Artest set a good example by jumping into the stands and fighting the fans? Kobe, along with a lot of other players engaged in a terrible act. There's no other way to look at it.

What a great family man Kobe is! Cheating on your wife has to be towards the top of the list in criteria for the GOAT husband. Kill yourself please Fatal, I promise it would be for the better!

Try reading his post again. Thats definitely not what he's saying. In what world is cheating on your spouse ok?

So now that we established that you lack reading comprehension in regards to the last two posts, I'll adress yours. Where did I say that it was okay? I said he made a mistake at a young age, got married young and that was a mistake. But it's a lot more different for a 24 year old and a 35+ year old. You're meaning to tell me that guys haven't been more cautious about sleeping around?

I highly doubt any of this is true.

Look at Fatal's post.

Look at the pages of photos Lyin posted.

Are you really telling me that those nut hangers are not worse than the haters who occasionally make a snide remark?

Implications my friend. You stated the others were despicable human beings yet that Kobe was an example setter for the rest of the league. Not to mention throwing in a Jay line which clearly states that he went through something so someone else didn't have to. Maybe it's me, but I don't post song lines that are somewhat sympathetic when talking about immoral things.

As for Fatal's reply...

Read the bolded parts and tell me he isn't trying to defend Kobe for what he's done or diminishing the fact that he did something TERRIBLE, and playing it off as if the only impact it had was positive. Give me a break

Kobe probably got A LOT of 'ghetto' from his wife after she read the TMZ article about what Tiger said regarding 'Kobe special'. It basically rehashed Kobe cheating as the biggest story in news right now making his wife out to be a gold digger. She HAD to have been pissed she got generalized like that.

well - really what is the point to this thread after all , bringing back horrible memories of what the NBA had to deal with , or another multi-millionaire , Tiger made 'known' public that he's getting his nuts off more than with his wife ? :confusedshrug:
It' ain't hurting me or you , and seems frivulous to even have a discuss about it.

Wow. How did Kobe's past from years ago being brought up when this is Tiger who is going through it right now?:confusedshrug: How many times will a man's mistakes be brought up?

As for Tiger, every man that has a right to his own private matters. Just because someone is more accomplished than you doesn't mean that the public has to know every little dark secret in his or her closet.

Wow...Diesel J is officially the biggest loser. Did you seriously just pull out the transcript from Kobe's court case? Or I should ask how long have you had it saved on your computer so you could post it as soon as someone happened to bring it up, never mind that it's 6 years later. That's sad on so many levels, you need a life dude.

Great post. Reminds me of that Jay-z song where he says : Hov did that so hopefully you won't go through that. Reminds me a lot of Kobe's situation. He set an example and I'm POSITIVE a lot of NBA players see what happened with him and reconsider. Some people don't understand, Kobe was young, didn't even turn 25 yet. Shaq on the other hand has been cheating on his wife and he's almost 40. Mike too. Despicable human being. Kobe put awareness out there.
